Yes, the lip that rides in the open slot is so worn that it will not stay in the slot - was replacing with new parts.

Mower Deck is 42 inch - I was able to get the bosses off with the removal of the rear linkage - however, now I cannot pull out the linkage shaft that travels through the frame - left to right. It seems inadequate space to remove and install the new part - rod hits the frame. Any ideas?

I have a BX 24 with an under belly mower. The mower deck quit lifting-I found the lift linkage was worn from metal to metal rubbing at the cam / stem assembly - both sides. I have new replacement parts and have started to remove the old parts but ran into a part "boss" that holds the linkage...
