I have not adjusted the pedal yet but the pto lever works as advertised when. Tractor is off . Am I to understand the clutch depresses further for the pto than regular transmission shifting? I’m hoping this isn’t a stupid question!

Also the clutch works fine for the transmission during all other operations. I’m pretty mechanically inclined just never worked on equipment such as this tractor.

This is closest to what’s happening. Push the clutch all the way down and pull the pto lever up but it just grinds. Thank you

The pto lever is on the transmission tunnel . I have read the manual. It’s a manual transmission tractor . From what I read and spoken with to others the clutch is supposed to disengage the pto shaft when engaging the pto lever. Is this not correct
