Found a roof of an old truck in my backyard...

When I moved into my current house I pulled close to 6 tons of metal out of the yard. Not fun cleaning up someone else's mess.

    BX for only mowing

Gentlemen, When my legacy was newish, it pulled a 2004 for ranger off a rock is was hung up on. I pulled a lot with it. I can't tell you how much of a night and day difference it was when I bought my b8200. This winters show.... My garden tractor with 8" of wet snow was a tough job. The...

    BX for only mowing

Disclaimer: my experience may be lacking, but my opinion is not. My ex-inlaws bought a slightly used bx1500 in 2005 to just mow grass. They had 26 acres of mostly mountain terrain but an acre around the house mostly flat. For the mowing part it did ok. For everything else it was awful. The...

Don't buy a bigger tractor than you need.

There are also some of us who have had a bad experience with the BX and wouldn't buy one.

Are we experiencing the death of the Diesel engine (small non commercial diesels)

Making a product with cheaper materials to maximize profits is not due to the government. It is due to GREED! Im not going to touch the anti-government BS.

Are we experiencing the death of the Diesel engine (small non commercial diesels)

I run less then 60 hrs per year. I used to be a gas person on my equipment. Now my equipment is a diesel tractor and all electric equipment. My trimmers and such run better with zero problems compared to gas. My tractor is nothing less then amazing in my application. Snow was a problem...

Are we experiencing the death of the Diesel engine (small non commercial diesels)

I bet the conversation started around John Deere and their service by technical staff only. I know a farmer who got rid of all his green and switched to case. Millions of dollars of equipment. His brother now has a case and picked up a second Oliver......ya Oliver. I could have bought new, I...

Are we experiencing the death of the Diesel engine (small non commercial diesels)

I may be preaching to the choir but, the difference in gas vs diesel is massive in a small engine. Torque to start with. My 20hp Kohler in my simplicity legacy could not do what my 19.5hp d950 in my b8200 does, not even close. My 26hp Kohler in my other pos grass cutter could either. Small...
