10 miles north of the AL/TN border a couple nights ago:

Fuel filter assembly crack; they replaced it, all is good. I have the old unit, haven't found the crack, but it's covered in crud and it's too cold to be out right now.

Just as with the air line, I planned to replace all the fuel hoses with Fuel Injection Hoses as soon as I could it back to my shop.

The WSM only mentions the air vent cock for bleeding the fuel system (page G-35). It states: "1. Fill the fuel tank with fuel, and open the fuel cock (1). 2. Open the air vent cock (2) on the fuel injection pump. 3. Start the engine and run for about 30 seconds, and then stop the engine. 4...

No joy. :( Thus far: - ETA: Changed out the fuel filter and cleaned the filter assy bowl. - Checked incoming fuel twice - full flow. - Checked fuel lines from lift pump through to filter housing - clear. - Replaced air line from filter housing to fuel tank - it was rotten at the filter...

Good news/Bad news: - Line from tank to filter assembly is clear; flow was full as soon as I disconnected it - Line from fiter assy to lift pump also clear - No apparent output from the lift pump; little and sporadic spurts of fuel with lots of air bubbles Lift pump isn't $30 from Kubota...

There is *always* one; your reflexes are so fast, nothing - nothing- goes over your head, you would catch it!!

Anti-freeze will destroy wheel rims - just like it does bare engine blocks after +1m miles running at high temps.

Five gallon bucket, sump pump, $15 air tool from Tractor Supply and a couple garden hoses. Fill the 5 gallon bucket, hook everything up, start the pump and add AF and water till filled. Stop every once in a while to burp the tire - the $15 air tool makes this easy.
