Bought one of these at the local Autozone: I had to remove about an 1/8" to get it to fit. Once it did, it released immediately. Amazing that they took something so simple - a hose with a hose clamp - and replacing it with something that requires a special tool to remove. :(

I checked the WSM: There are no special tools listed for disconnecting or connecting the fuel line. :( Next step: Take pics to Autozone, see if they have a tool that will do it.

Here is the tractor I use when it's cold outside. It's not very fast, the FEL on it sucks major balls and it takes about 30 minutes or so to wake up and do some useful work. Other than that, it's great to have around when it's cold.
