    Washer fluid hose leaking

Anyone ever replaced/repaired the front washer hose on a cabbed M tractor. It is leaking right where it exits the washer mount. It disappears into the cab frame and looks to be inaccessible.

    Independent rear brakes

I use them regularly when plowing snow and the front wheels break traction and start sliding off to the side and stab on the appropriate pedal straightens things out. On my M’s the brakes are to the left of the go pedal so it’s not difficult to manage my feet.

I tried it and it worked 🙏

    PTO wood chipper

I just checked for a PTO override switch on my M4 and to my dismay it doesn’t have one as confirmed by the operator manual 😞. Now I’m going to have to jury rig something so I can use the wood chipper and winch. It has the fixed Grammer seat.

Would the same be true for front axle?80/90 vs Sudt? Are they compatible?

    Mixing hydro fluids?

The prior owner of the M4 071 used Napa premium hydro fluid for all the hydraulic services during the 1800 hrs he owned it with no apparent problems. I have always used Kubota Sudt for service on my other tractors. Can Sudt be mixed safely with other “compatible” fluids?

Definitely liking the cab and particularly the AC , heat and radio that work. Heat and radio were NFG in the 6040❄️

The right hand arm is slightly bent but it looks worse when photo’d from the side ,

No, the arms are not bent, they were quite muckled on the 6040

No, the arms are not bent, they were quite muckled on the 6040. Even with the buddy seat the cab is comfortably roomy.

Skeets, I’ll be doing what I have been doing till now, mostly logging in the dry times, snow plowing and usual heavy hauling. I hope to not be busting all the stuff I broke on the 6040! Should have titled it M4 071
