Need help removing this part from bushhog

^^^^^ This would be my approach as well. The Splined shaft (tapered or not) is essentially 'welded' to the boss of the stump jumer via Galvanic Corrosion (rust) AND the part was heavily torqued to the shaft to begin with. Use a cut off disc to produce two 'kerfs' in the boss (180° apart). Get...

150ft drive and stump clearing BX23S

Indeed. A lot of hard work.....but looking great!

150ft drive and stump clearing BX23S

Depending on material and the skill of the person making a 'point', it really doesn't take that long to make a projectile point. All your time is in making a good arrow shaft. I am a flintknapper (hobby of mine) but also hunt with what I make. I can knock out a decent point (of good chert) in...

150ft drive and stump clearing BX23S

Digging is your best bet (vs. surface finds). Found all of these in two days of digging on my Aunt's property in Austin, TX.

Looks like you have a few 'artifacts' on the property.

A simple attachment for direct burial cable?

^^^^^^ Agreed. That is what I ended up doing recently. Rental was $230.00 a day. Soil is hard red clay and Iron Ore. Still only took me 30 minutes to make a 100' run. Rental company refunded me $50.00 upon return because it only took me a few hours total to go to town, trench and return...

    Is my bucket to big?

^^^^ That's pretty much how I see as well. OP will need to be 'judicious' in his use of the bucket.....where weight is concerned. IF the bucket were being used primarily for lighter media (dry snow, wood chips, etc) then he might realize a gain in 'volume' over the original bucket...

    L3302 hot floor boards

My L2350DT gets quite warm in those areas as well if I've been working the tractor pretty hard for several hours. Whether or not that is 'normal' I suppose would depend on just HOW hot it is getting. I'll take my IR gun one day and measure mine, but I'd 'guess' transmission case is probably in...

    No work!

^^^^^ Haha.....85 degrees. Our morning lows start out at 85°F sometimes. I guess its all what you are used to. Where I live in Texas....we know 'Fall' is just around the corner (Late October) when it finally gets back down to 85 degrees. ;)

    Moving a butane tank

Depending on the lift capacity of his FEL....he may need to 'curl' the bucket to lift the tank. My tractor's FEL would just barely lift my 320 gallon tank using the boom function and I had to 'curl' the bucket to get the rest.

    Pulling logs

Any number of ways you might pull/skid logs with your tractor. But first and foremost....consider the 'safety' factor. Just how big are these 'Logs' and over what type of terrain will you be moving them? Can you drive right up to each of them and lift the butt end (slightly) or do some need...
