Thanks for the detailed reply Wolfman. I think I've got the right spot but I've nothing there (see attached circled in blue). I checked underneath the body to see what that raised box is covering but its not a sight glass (see attached circled in red) I should mention there's a cab on her too...

I've the same problem on the same model. Can't find the sight glass. The previous owner had some welding done to her so just wondering if he's after plating over the site glass, without cutting out the hole. Would you be able to post another wider framed picture where it is so I know I'm looking...
