Thank you both for the help. Sometimes all it takes is someone else making you think thru the problem. PTO speed does not slow down and yes the implement has a slip cluth on it. The clutch disc on the bushhog needs replacing. But on a goodnote...I now have a new Tachometer.

Wolfman, Thank you for your reply. Tachometer is on the way. I will post some better information soon. I have talked with a Kubota dealer who indicated that it might be a problem with the pressure relief valve. Any thoughts on that?

I have an M5040DT. The pto seems to slow down when running a bush hog and I get into heavy brush. Any suggetions?
