That would be the strangest sounding tractor on the block.

    Digging bucket cleanup attachment

If I could've found a bucket nearby in the spring I'd probably be the proud owner of two buckets as well. As it turned out, this time I had to wait on the weather and wasn't in the mood to spend money so I got my brain in gear, the welder fired up and a bunch of cutoff disks later here we are...

    Digging bucket cleanup attachment

Rain held off and I managed to finish my trenching this morning. Watching the material closely, I don’t think more metal on the sides would improve the volume collected by much however it looks like it would put stress on the mounting bolts so I think it’s pretty good just how it is.

    Digging bucket cleanup attachment

The rain stopped for a few hours and I tried out the new attachment. It's hard to tell from the picture but the difference is night and day in this footing trench that is about 12" deep and 24" wide. It has no trouble digging through medium density material and I can get nearly all the loose...

    Digging bucket cleanup attachment

Thought I’d share this in case someone else is looking for the same thing I was. I only have a digging bucket with 3 extra large welded teeth on my BH4672 so it’s hard not to leave a lot of loose material in the bottom of a trench. I searched the forums and the internet for quite a while...

B2550 Jerky / jumpy hydrostatic transmission

Would be great if someone who had the repair done could scan the service report section describing the repair and the parts used so the rest of us have some more info to take to our local dealers who seem to know nothing about this.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Built a new pad to repurpose the greenhouse as a garden shed, rotated 180 degrees and moved into its new spot. It was over a couple days though.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Buried power, water and lots of spare conduit to the shop and added a riser to the septic tank clean out for future use. Slow and steady wins the race and doesn’t break anything important that you don’t want to have to fix.

    Think I'm done.

Just my 2 cents but if the BX is too small I’d be looking at an older B series like a 75 or 7610 with low hours. A little heavier and handle a little more weight, simpler and can be had for cheap if you wait for the right deal to come along. They aren’t that much bigger but are more of an ag...

    3Pt Position for Backhoe

Thanks for that. They are nearly identical and I’ve read the manual it came with cover to cover and upside down but couldn’t find that.

    3Pt Position for Backhoe

I tried asking this on another forum but just got a few responses from people wanting to rehash the subframe discussion. Hoping someone may have some input on the question I was asking. Here’s something I’ve wondered for a long time and haven’t seen mentioned here or in any operator manuals...

    Kubota B6000 zl600 engine swap

You can put a different engine in but I don’t know of anything that would bolt up the same. I bought a 6000 about 14 years ago that had been run with a cracked head for years and the engine was shot. I found a Z600 head which I realized was different when I went to get it. I ended getting the...

    Diesel diseling?

Rereading this thread it looks like the topic has drifted from the OPs original inquiry. On a non turbo Diesel engine, it’s pretty uncommon to have a runaway caused by running on engine oil. There’s almost no way for it to enter the cylinder except the oil passage from the block to the head...

    Diesel diseling?

On two stroke Detroit’s the air flap was often the cause of the runaway. They used a speed switch trigger the air flap if the engine exceeded 2100rpm and shut off the air supply. This often happened when purging air after a filter change. Problem is that when you block the air supply you...
