    Question about BX steering

Thought I'd revive this one. I have a BX1850 where you really need to spin the wheel to get it to move from straight. I can turn the steering wheel slowly and it won't turn at all. Want to verify that the cylinder won't necessarliy leak just because the center seal is out.

    Voltage regulator for L1500

I got one from John's Auto electric in St. Michael mN. If you need to punt, you could call them and see if they'll ship.

    BX owners, chime in

Think of your tractor as an overengineered teeter totter with 2 pivot points instead of 1. The front axle is 1 pivot point and the rear is the other. Weight between the axles is distributed between both axles proportionally to its relative distance to a given axle. Weight in front of the front...

    Bush Hog for Kubota L2201

Really depends on what you want to do with it. I run a 4 foot brush hog with my L1500. In heavy brush or reed canary grass it's pulling hard in first gear and I need to lift the mower from time to time because I don't have live PTO. On the flip side if I'm mowing knee high brome grass chest...

    L1500 Power Loss

I got the injectors bench tested. One failed so I had them rebuilt. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it runs way smoother. I replaced the front injector line because I couldn't get it to seal on the injector end.

    RCK 54 deck

Thanks Jim. No I don't have a manual. Kubotabooks seems more difficult to navigate than it did when bought my L1500 and none of the YouTube videos I found showed it.

    RCK 54 deck

I took the blades off of my RCK54 deck to sharpen them. Each one has 2 conical washers and one hex ID washer. To me it seems like that's 1 more conical washer than there should be. On 2 of the blades they were stacked and oriented like they should be with a single washer. On the other one they...

    Mid PTO Splines

Are the mid PTO splines proprietary, or is it an industry standard? The deck for my BX1850 is 10 spline.

L2501 tries to turn off when leaning on the seat too much

Most likely is. I'm 250 and have similar problems with my BX.
