    My wife informed me I was unable to draw a straight line. So, she drew another line. I then decided I would just dig right thru the middle of both of them. Excavator did well. It was Yanmar 35 from the local rental company. Didn't have much issue with the frost, it pulled right through it...

    We put in our water line. Our niece came out and helped, which was greatly appreciated. We find hidden items like a buried fence. Glad to have this project off the list.

    I'm a firm believer in shopping around. As other posts have noted, prices can vary greatly. We needed two trees taken down, we would do all the clean up, just needed them dropped. Got three quotes, $4,800, $5,100 and $7,500. We were told about another tree service, so figured one more quote...

    That looks nice. I have purchased LEDs for the back my 3560, just waiting for warmer weather. If I get permission from the finance board, I will look at following in your footsteps.

    We use hydrovac trucks/trailers all the time at work. More so because we are digging in areas that have underground piping and would prefer not to blow anything up.
