@North Idaho Wolfman So you would just suggest at this point to get the Travellers premium as well and be done? I was more worried about the shuttle shift than I was the transmission. I don't have a preference one way or the other, just want to make sure its not going to cause any issues.

@MapleLeafFarmer Might as well get your own hose press and bulk hose for that reason! Either way you pay for it in time driving to and fro dealer, or money to have the stuff on hand. Its a lose lose

@MapleLeafFarmer That is what I plan on doing, just figured I would get a rough idea so I know how much fluid to get before draining it, then drain and verify.

HAHA I just know sometimes the hydraulic systems can be sensitive to fluids. More whining or slower movement with generic. Again, I have no problem saving $100/5 gallons if the Tractor supply UDT will work fine in both loader and transmission. If anyone does this on older iron and has no issues...

If there was zero advantage to the Kubota SUDT2 for the shuttle shift then I probably would just put Generic fluid in it, but I am worried about the 3 point and shuttle shift with generic fluids.

I couldn't tell if that meant the hydraulic system on the tractor or not. It wasn't clear to me. Because apparenty some of the L1720 loaders did not have a separate reservoir and system. So with the separater reservoir it still takes 7.5 gallons?

Good Afternoon, I have a L1720 Loader on L355-SS tractor. Looking to replace filter and fluids. It has an external reservoir and pump runs off front of tractor. Does anyone know what the capacity of the system is with separate reservoir, and what fluid to use? I'm going to assume Super UDT-2...

For anyone looking for same battery, NAPA no longer had the one I ordered. The superceded the one I listed above it to part # 7237. Which works because its a 950CCA battery and they have it in store for me to pick up.
