    Oil filter change on L2502

Ok. So this confirms that this is a garage job, and not a field job.

    Oil filter change on L2502

I need to do my 50h service on the L2502. I've already changed the engine oil filter and the HST filter. I now need to change the "inlet filter" with I believe is the hydraulic filter. I wanna know if that's gonna bleed a lot of oil. I'm planning on doing this in the field instead of the...

    Swift-Tach delete.

I removed it from my b2601. The peg that holds it in place kept breaking. I never remove the FEL. Now on my l2502, the system is manual but seems pretty good. I never tried to remove the FEL but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem

    Advice for rake

I ended up building my own. I'm not sure how long the tines will hold but this is made with all stuff I had on hand, so free.

    Advice for rake

I forgot to say I also own a box blade. I can use it as a rake but it's not great. I'd rather rake first, and then do a pass with the box to smooth everything after.

    Advice for rake

I have a 4 acres property that I want to maintain. I wanna be able to rake debris like shown in pictures I'm thinking I could use a rake like a LR1660. I need a few advices: Would it be overkill to own this? Is it the kind of thing I'm gonna do once and won't need the implement anymore? Or...

    Chain box for L2502

I had to look up what a mag drill was. Looks like it's the kind of drill they use to open safes in bank heist movies. I'll look into getting a set of hole saws.

    Chain box for L2502

I've built a box in front of my l2502. It's a great place to store chains. The 2601 did not have enough room in the front for this. 48$ worth of metal. Making holes is not something I like. I don't think I have the right equipment. It's costing me a fortune in drill bits and it's a slow...

    Garage door height

    This one. 190$ + 50$ for the 8' extension kit https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mastercraft-1-2-hp-chain-drive-ultra-quiet-smart-garage-door-opener-control-and-monitor-from-noma-iq-app-0461401p.html

    Garage door height

Problem solved. I ended up installing a garage door opener. Now it pulls the door all the way up. Expensive solution but it has the added benefit of being remote controlled now. No need to get off the tractor after pulling out of the garage. Am I the only one with a garage door remote on his...

    Garage door height

That's what I'm thinking. If I push on the door, I can see the cable being rolled up more on the pulley. So if I add more tension to the spring then it should work. Or maybe I should just buy an opener and install it myself. I could adjust it to pull the door a bit more.

    Garage door height

I should have mentioned I don't have an opener. I have a bit less than 24" available from the ceiling. So it does sound like I could get it extended higher. So it means adding rail extensions and also moving the spring further up right? So that would be about 2h job for a contractor?

    Garage door height

My garage door opening is high enough for my new tractor but the door would need to open up higher. I can push it higher, so I thought I could have someone stiffen up the spring so it pulls back more on it. But the contractor said he'd need to change the rails. Does that make sense? What is the...

    L2502 review

But I believe this would require a modification that would void the warranty right?

    L2502 review

@MotoBBQ : how about pushing on a pile of dirt? Can you do this on "M"? I don't really understand why HP would only be about PTO. Surely it says something about how the tractor can push or pull on things. Unless they all use the same hydro pump for the HST transmission. But then again, my...
