Also replaced the water separator assembly as the existing one was a bit long in the tooth.

The knob is pancaked down onto the lower housing. I removed the knob and sprayed the lower brass section with pen-oil, will see how that goes. So far no joy.

Alrighty, I went and messed with that knob using a bit more force, no go.
Not sure if the bleed/prime pump is seized, or if mine simply doesn’t have that feature.

I have a Kubota M105SHD with Rops.
I am doing fuel system maintenance, (filter and water separator) and my workshop manual refers me to a fuel system bleed procedure.
It says I should bleed the fuel system of air, and it references a hand pump “knob” on top of the fuel filter...
