    Very sorry to hear - my mother suffers terribly with dementia also - it is an awful disease. As for the tractor - looks to be a BX of some form - if I had to guess I would say a BX2370 - based on the arm rests that were not available on earlier models.

    Overfilled can be worse than underfilled! Over full is BAD simply because the moving parts will whip the oil - and place a zillion air bubbles in it! And we all know air is not a good lubricate! Get under and pull plug and remove a good bit - more than you need, tighten plug and if you wish -...

    In NIW post the "nut" marked 140 is the problem - It backs off and causes slop in the movement. Hard to get to - remove right rear tire to get a better look at it.

    Not a "gas" pedal ....it is a hydraulic fluid pedal - changing the flow of fluid flow. As sawdust mentioned - there is grease zerk to be greased. What type of fluid did you replace with?

    As all of us have mentioned - take all cables off, clean with light sanding, bright. Then place back on and snug tight. SEE IF this makes any difference.
