That'll be for the 2027-28 winter, correct?
If I’d have bought the clamp on edge tamers (legit brand) I wouldn’t even take off the tooth bar at all. Mulch, dirt, gravel…… I leave it on. I built a loop to the driveway a couple years ago. Layed down the base 4” aggregate and reclaimed asphalt with the bar on.I'm quite happy with mine. I'll take it off for moving mulch and the like, and of course for snow, but it stays on most of the time. But once you've done it a couple of times, it's nothing to pop it off or put it back on.
Just don't lose your bolts! I haven't done that... yet.
Correct - as soon as the ground dries up I will split it and and roughly stack it in open rows to air dry. Come late summer I will put in the section of wood shed that I emptied this last winter. My shed holds two winters worth. That'll be for the 2027-28 winter, correct?
I was out moving my palletized firewood today. I put it in rows of 6 and cover with old roofing steel. My steel has about reached the end of its life especially the stuff under the pallets.Correct - as soon as the ground dries up I will split it and and roughly stack it in open rows to air dry. Yep Ken, we also had a ton of damage to the white pines and the Norway spruce.Started the ice storm damage clean up today. 4 1/2 hours of solid grapple work is enough at one sitting for this old dog!

Looking forward to seeing what you got. I reached out to Berkelmans Welding again to get an updated price sheet for their 4 ton and 6 ton dump trailers. I could really use one of their trailers. They're kind of in your neck of the woods right?Hooked the little dump trailer on to the RTV to load onto another trailer for it's new owner. Picked up a 7x14' dump trailer for the truck and tractor.

Oh no, you are selling the trailer? I always loved it, the right size, shape, proportions, colour (!), everything perfect.Hooked the little dump trailer on to the RTV to load onto another trailer for it's new owner. Picked up a 7x14' dump trailer for the truck and tractor.

It was a perfect size for the LX. A but small for the Grand L and not road worthy. I needed something for work and the "new" trailer suits my needs better.Oh no, you are selling the trailer? I always loved it, the right size, shape, proportions, colour (!), everything perfect.
It inspired me to start a little diy project to get something similar, just scaled down for my Micky Mouse garden "tractor".![]()

Many people think a woodshed is to much work especially when you air dry it first before you put it in the shed. But it suits me fine. If I put a third bay on the shed so that it would hold 3 years wood I would not have to air dry it - could split it right into the shed and save some work.I was out moving my palletized firewood today. I put it in rows of 6 and cover with old roofing steel. My steel has about reached the end of its life especially the stuff under the pallets.
I have been thinking about a wood shed for several years. I think its time to start a plan.

I guess the woods are bigger than I thought.Berkelmans is only about 1100 miles from me
I picked up a 2021 K-Trail. I don't think they used any primer so I'm going to get it blasted and repainted.

I will most likely be using the truck to haul it 99% of the time since I don't need the the tractor hydraulics to dump it. That was a struggle with the other trailer.I guess the woods are bigger than I thought.
I have a similar trailer and a smaller single axle version too, but I find that A-frame trailers don't play nice when pulling off the tractor's drawbar, but you might be pulling off the QH so perhaps it's a moot point.

Wife has the same or very similar bird bath. We have it in a little garden near the driveway where it also turns to go up to shop.Yesterday we were visiting at a friend’s house. As we were leaving they said the large concrete bird bath they’ve had in their yard for the past 30 years is something they’ve wanted to get rid of and replace with something much smaller for the past couple years, but it’s so large and heavy they didn’t know how they would get rid of it. Wife really likes it and we had driven my truck so we got it slid into the back of the truck and strapped it down. Got home pretty late, so left it in the truck last night.
Today it was time to get it out of the truck and cleaned up. Bottom was clean, but top needed to meet with the pressure washer. Also needed to get it out of the back of the truck and prepped to move to final position, wherever that is.
Didn’t have any help today. I’m not totally decrepit yet, but I ain’t exactly Eddie Hall either, so it was diesel fuel and hydraulics for the win. (For scale, the pallets are 4’ wide.)
Took the personnel basket off the forks and pulled a couple pallets out of the shed. Slid the pieces out of the back of the truck and onto the pallets. Pressure washed it and left them on the pallets, awaiting further instruction. Will probably get it set up tomorrow.
I know I’ve said it before, but I don’t know how people do life without forks.

We had a block retaining wall built and the rock was delivered in quad-axle dump trucks. They were able to turn around with a three point turn. I have seen Amazon vans having to back up and pull forward multiple times to get turned around. Our UPS guy doesn't have any problems doing a three point turn. Most if not all delivery drivers have never been given any instruction on driving anything bigger tha a golf cart!
There should be mandatory drivers training by any company that makes deliveries.
Several years ago I lived near a very small town and whatched a beer truck get hungup in a short turn onto a street with a high crown and got high centered in the middle of the intersection!
Funny to watch but could not stay around to find out how he got out!

Yet this guy has no problem taking his 16 wheel cement mixer through an old tobacco field and down a narrow path to close a long abandoned well. No hesitation. No spotter. No damage to anything. All drivers are not equal.Wife has the same or very similar bird bath. We have it in a little garden near the driveway where it also turns to go up to shop.
It seems a lot of these delivery drivers amazon, fedex really can't back up or use mirrors, cut corners too short. While I was watching one driver he backed up towards the shop and then cut the corner short driving over small rocks and knocking it over. He stopped and was apologetic, helped me reset it. fortunately it wasn't damaged. I took the kubota and set a small boulder about 30" thru there to protect it. See that was spun one day by another driver.
The driveway is about 12' wide there and the turn up is about 20'
Leaves me shaking my head when I know UPS can do it or a 10 wheeler can back up there and dump stone for me with a short reset in his turn.
