Being a drummer (drummers are awesome) I'm sure you've the strength to carry 50# of chow if you wanted. Unless you're a blues drummer... :ROFLMAO:
Well, if I were a jazz drummer I would clearly walk around randomly with the box instead of a straight line and make people interpret where I was trying to go.......

Well, I wasn't going to use the L3901DT today, but I tried to fell a Blonded Ash tree and it decided to "hang" around with its Oak brothers. So I took the Mule back to the shed and got the L3901DT to push the tree down. Not my most favorite thing to do. Got the tree on the ground and back to get the Mule and saws.

I had two smaller sized Blonded Ash tree to cut down and load up on the Mule. As you can see in the picture, they were close to the driveway and I have been putting off cutting them down. The second one I cut fell across the driveway.

Took out the trash. Maybe a bit silly to use a loader for that, but the tractor was the handiest vehicle available and carrying a drum liner full of junk a quarter mile in the pitch black night was a non-starter.

I Do the same thing sometimes LOL. Only way the cheap supplied garbage cans with small plastic wheels get to the street in the snow is via the bucket. The groves on the wheels love to collect snow and turn it into an anchor.

The going is perfect right now. A few pictures from the last couple of days from my Maple stand improvement project that I am picking away at to make firewood.

This one was a hard leaner and I tried to swing it to fall up hill. I knew the base was iffy but figured I had nothing to lose. There was even less holding wood than I thought and it fell with the lean diagonally across the hill. So I cut it in two and pulled both ends from the middle.

First load of firewood for the season. Have been burning since Thanksgiving using last year’s leftovers that were still on the cart by the stove. I like the cart partly because it holds enough wood I don’t have to unwrap and rewrap the pile often, and partly because I can roll it around easily to get out of the way depending on what I’m doing.

Probably 10 years ago, my wife called me at work and asked if I could run by some random address to pick up a cart she just bought from a guy that was selling it out of his front yard. She said it was only $25 and she wasn’t sure what we’d do with it but was sure it would be useful for something. Didn’t have room for it in her car. I was too busy to ask questions and get into a discussion; just agreed to swing by and get it when I went lunch.

I was a little surprised her $25 “cart” was a 3000lb capacity platform truck that was slightly warped, brakes missing, much of the paint missing, and phenolic tires chunking out badly enough it was hard to roll even when empty. Stripped the remainder of the tires so now it has just the steel wheels. It had stake pockets on the open end, so I made a simple drop in end gate using schedule 40 black steel pipe for the uprights. For $25 plus a little repurposed scrap and a couple hours work, it was a great deal.

You got a keeper, and I don’t mean the cart. Take her to dinner. That cart paid for itself many times over.

Got about 6 inches of snow so far. Plowed enough for the wife to get in the garage. Will be trying out my 3 point blower for 1st time tomorrow.

I love to see snow because there isn't any where I live. Maybe every 20 years or so.

I use my loader to carry my packages from my chained and locked gate 900' to my house ...

View attachment 166590

I store my cat food in the barn in a metal garbage can, but also have another can in the house, I resupply the barn with, I like to stay stocked up ... But I figure even the short trip to the barn 150' away, I'd rather use the tractor, I bought it make my life easier!

I even give the "black & white kitties" a ride! 🤠
UPS did it again. Late yesterday afternoon (with almost all of the snow gone) they left $550 worth of Bushwacker fenders for my '02 F-250 at the bottom of the common driveway! They must have some seasonal driver taking care of this route but I'm done with UPS delivering to my house.

We went from 12" or more of snow last week (first photo) to almost no snow at lower elevations by yesterday afternoon. And now this morning it's snowing again, but a very wet, heavy, annoying 32°F type of snow. :cautious: I don't know what the heck is going on with the weather these days. I'm looking forward to cold, dry weather ASAP.

I always enjoy your photos! :).

Same here in Central Wi. Many years we have not had any significant snow until after Christmas. Two (for us) major storms so far with lots of small 1 to 2 inch snow falls. I woke up to 7 plus heavy but not wet snow this morning. With me hand shoveling out to my garage I should reach my tractor about noon! lol.

That's the worst kind of snow for sure, and hard to move regardless of how it's being moved.

Maybe phone the company you ordered it from. Complaining to UPS is a waste of time in my experience because you have no contractual agreement with them and the business from your side is too small to bother.

I had a UPS driver that dumped deliveries the same way. I try to talk to him and explain the situation but he got aggressive, so no point to continue the conversation.

When contacted by the seller (large electronics company) about the delivery for feedback I told them that I was very happy with the goods but that the delivery by UPS was unacceptable and that I would refrain from ordering from them until they get another courier company.

Received a phone call from their customer service department, explained the situation and the woman promised to follow it up with UPS. The next time the driver was gone and another guy delivered it correctly.

Amazon! I'd have a better chance of getting on a Blue Origin rocket than persuading Amazon to change their shipping policies! 😂

I don't ever remember seeing conditions like we have this morning. The "snow" is like really bad shave ice and is serving to hold a lot of water on the driveway. If this stuff freezes it's going to be treacherous. I made some passes to clear it off but it's like running a large fire hose, although it does work.

Amazon! I'd have a better chance of getting on a Blue Origin rocket than persuading Amazon to change their shipping policies! 😂
I have had similar experiences and issues with Amazon shipping! I have been shopping online for years and Amazon has REALLY GONE DOWN HILL ON THEIR SHIPMENT PROCESSING
When you would order an item they would tell you what day you could expect it to arrive, and for the most part of the time, you would get it delivered on or prior to the promised date! Now, if you get it on time, you are very fortunate, most of the time it is delayed or not shipped until after the arrival date has passed. Now, as far as having them deliver it to your requested location! I have never had any issues, I have put specific instructions on the site of the delivery company, as to where I want them to deliver my packages and I have purchased a Sign from Amazon that I have posted near my front porch that reminds the delivery driver where I want them to place my packages. So far no problems, I live about 1200 feet from the hard top road so they do have to come up to my house for delivery. I have attached a couple of pictures of the signs, the first one is the one I have. They have several different signs and they are priced at $6 to $14, which I think is reasonable, them are printed on metal and the quality is great. Hopefully it will help.
