BAM! Instagram welder here boys! 3 passes each side on the outside, 2 on inside. Turned heat and wire speed down for final “pretty” pass on outside.

Well I made a decision and went with it.

Someone welded a shelf right in the way… I will only be able to weld the inside on 3 of the 4 walls. Should be fine.
I wonder who would do such a thing!! 😂

I doubt you'll have any issues, but as you mentioned earlier, it would be easy to add gussets to the receiver tube if needed. I added three gussets to support the 3" square tube when I made a receiver for the M1078. The angled gussets provide vertical and horizontal support.

I laughed too hard first thing in the morning at the shelf in the way comment. That looks good and will work just fine. Do you have enough room to get a hitch pin and cotter key in?

Cleaned up driveways Friday twice as we got almost a foot of snow, added to earlier in the week. When I first started plowing in December the ground wasn’t frozen so I barely pushed off of drives and now we’ve been inundated with snow in February it will be close to running out of room in a few spots. Can’t beat a blower to solve this problem.

Oh, all of you with loaders check the 2 small screws in the front side of the stick in the handle. Both of mine were loose and 1 almost fell out. I’ve got 650 hrs on tractor.

Blowers start to shine, once you start to get a lot of snow. They throw it farther, and pack in down more than a plow. I have used both, blades for lesser amounts as they are faster, and blowers for larger amounts.

I used both tractors yesterday to push and blow snow but no photos.

I received a text from the local Kubota dealer telling me that the three pieces of rear defrost glass for the M6060, along with a 100A alternator, rear windshield wiper kit and switches has arrived. Total cost is $1309 which includes a measly shipping fee of $34. The wiper kit is $297 and the electric defogger kit with the 100A alternator is $978 and those are the prices shown if you use the "build my Kubota" tool on Kubota's website for the M6060/M7060. I think the price is very reasonable for all that the kits include, so don't forget to order accessories through sales and not parts.

When the weather is nicer I'll finally get around to installing the air ride seat pedestal. The seat has to come out the rear window so it makes sense to remove the original rear window, get the seat done and then complete the rear defrost, wiper and alternator upgrades.

Blew a little bit of snow yesterday, then sanded again. Also threw some ashes from the pellet stove down.

Bright sunshine and above freezing temps today. Does wonders on the icy base underneath. Supposed to have daytime temps above freezing all week.

I keep resisting temptation to scape it off with the rear blade. Concerned it'll just turn it into a skating rink and scrape away a lot of dark sand that's on it.

Had a lot of snow/rain/snow episodes this winter. Turned my nice base into ice, but there’s a lot of layers of sand mixed in with the ice.

Looked on firewood today. Found a Hickory that had blown down that had some good wood in it and dropped a dead Ash and Post oak. The third picture is a little out of focus. That is Dibbley watching over the logs so no one walks off with them.

I started to cut firewood along the west rock wall after the men's breakfast at church.
I worked for about an hour or so the the frozen ground started to melt and getting muddy.
Picked up the wood I cut then moved to the other road I am building.
Cleared some of the snow and cut a Sag Bark Hickory tree that was too close to my road.
The snow is over knee deep in the woods.
I cut about six buckets full of wood. Now I need to get the log splitter out and split and stack the wood in the shed.
Last year I chipped anything the chipper would take. This year I am being more selective on what I will chip. Anything 2" and larger goes in the firewood pile.
