$2.49 a gallon.

$1.38/L gas, $1.58/L for diesel

My girlfriend goes to Costco shopping.
She's leaving there's a mass of people headed in. Outside two Canadian tour buses...eh.
Is Costco in Canada??? Seems odd the tour would stop there. LL Bean yes. But Costco....hmmm...

Probably just stopped for new tires

Recently there's been a big fuss about Costco being strict about carding members. Kinda doubtful that Costco member stage bus tours, but you never know..

She said they scanned your card going in and again at the register. Then on the way out count every single item in the cart. She only get a few things when she goes.
But others with full carts.
Every item counted before they are allowed to leave. Long long line waiting to leave.
Sams Club much much easier. And Costco only takes Visa. Period.

You’re living in the wrong part of Idaho. I paid $2.78 on the way home Thursday.

Wow, haven’t seen that low since January 21. Here in Cascade, population 1000, we have 5 gas stations. Prices are the same at every one of them.

If the line is short (1 or 2 people) I let them look at my stuff. Any more than that and I just walk around and leave. Sometimes they say something. Other times not. When they do, I'm polite but just say I've been checked twice. I know you are doing your job, but I'm not waiting.

We get near Costco often enough that we rarely buy elsewhere. Last bought there on Friday at $3.09. With my Costco Visa Card I get 4% cash back, so at $3.09 the real price is $2.97. Closer to home prices $3.27 to $3.43. There's one station about 1/4 mile away from Costco that usually has gas at the same prices as Costco. There's a Sheetz station pretty much at the entrance to Costco selling at $3.25.

Costco recently installed a couple card readers to scan you in. They usually have two "checkers" who take a quick look at your cart when exiting, but it rarely delays you much at all on leaving.

WOW we are quite a bit cheaper up North.
Gas $2.89 to $3.25 Diesel $3.15 to $3.65, prices vary if your in a resort town or not.
