I'm not a gun guy, but I think "shells" is more reserved for shotgun ammunition, or am I wrong? 9mm ammo is probably mostly called "rounds", I think.
I could be wrong, though.

Clips (have several for my M1), magazines……., rounds, shells………somewhat interchangeable terms….still amusing.

I did that Friday night at Home Depot in the Christmas section

I triggered a minion and I thought the poor girl working that section was gonna shank me The minion was pretty annoying and very long winded
