While I do admire you wants - I will say that finding a backhoe for that 40 year old tractor will be just short of finding the needle in the haystack! Not saying you cannot find one - but it will be damn tough.

Those tires look huge for that tractor! Did you install or you buy that way?

we understand it’s going to be hard to find, which is why we’re on the largest Kubota forum looking for help 😁. We installed them, probably the world’s first B7100 running 37s

Interested in buying a backhoe for this old B7100. Located in Oregon but can travel or arrange shipping View attachment 126272
You may not WANT to hear this, but...it is fact!

I would strongly suggest selling your B7100, and buying a Kubota tractor with a BH already attached.
The hassle/cost of locating, shipping, and attaching/mounting a used BH to your 40 year old tractor is simply not going to be even close to cost effective!

We’re not looking for bad advice 🤦🏼‍♀️. We’re also not selling our tractor. This is the internet. MANY B7100 backhoes exist and we’re here to help track one down.

I take it that you did ALL the math when it came to ratio's front to rear?

Woods makes a really nice BH that fits it and is much better than the original BH that came on that unit. Just something to think about.

I have an extra B670 backhoe from a B7100 that I would sell cheap.

$500 picked up at my place in northern Arizona.

However, it is rough, (understatement) & in need of a complete rebuild.

Hydraulics seem to be OK, but pins & holes, swing pivot, outrigger mounts are all in need of serious work.

I bought it for hydraulic spare parts for my B670, but now that I have a mini excavator, it seems surplus, and I need the room.

Do you have equipment and skills to do (serious) machining, welding, & fabrication?

Here is a link to my original B670 backhoe rebuild thread, and it has a description of this backhoe's condition, posts #106 through #120.

As somewhat of an authority on these, I can tell you that these B670s are rarer than platinum hen's teeth, and usually in terrible/horrible shape.

Absolutely. We’ve been searching for Woods 65/660/6500s but have come up empty. Would be happy to find one
I've seen exactly three backhoes for a B7100 pop up in Texas (which is not where you are) over the last two years. One was rotten and laying in a grassy yard in Port Aransas. Tractor and mounting equipment long gone. One was on a very, very clapped B7100D that looked to need a full rebuild. One was on a decent tractor and it was sold in about 20 minutes of being posted.

If you do find one, @Vigo had a rebuild thread that was really, really good to follow on the process.

Holy heck that is ROUGH. It looks like it could be salvaged though, but would take a lot of fabricating, welding, and most importantly time to get it done. We’ve got our hands full enough as it is with our current fleet.

If we had more time I’d gladly take it and get cutting, but summers right around the corner and there’s backhoe’n work to be had.

I hear you.
When I built mine, it took a lot of time & effort, and mine was nowhere near as bad.
Hopefully someone will come along with the time, equipment, & motivation to tackle this one.
Maybe if I ever catch up with all my tasks I will do it myself.

Keep looking, I looked for a couple of years and found one, restored it. There is a whole tractor B7100 with a Backhoe on FB marketplace right now for $6k. You could buy it for the Backhoe and then sell the unit. Change your location to New Castle PA and search for kubota it will show up
