Titan attachments pallet forks ?

i have a L3560. Looking at pallet forks. Titan attachments have them on sale. Anyone have any dealings with this company. 2nd question what length blade to get pros/cons?

42" seems to be a good compromise. I've had 36 and 60. 42 handles 48" deep skids OK.36" ,has 1' over can be tippy. Though nay depend on what you usually need to move.
Hint, get ALL the same sized skids..makes life easier. Also stack double high. Bottom skid,on ground is for the rain and bugs top one keeps your stuff 'high and dry',,also easier to get forks into.

I looked at the GW but they are double the price with only half the rated lift. Also didn’t see on the Gw they were made in the USA. the Titian has both China and USA forks. Thanks for the info

I have bought 2 ballast boxes and an SSQA & 3pt adapter from them. Very positive to deal with…customer service very responsive by email and sent me pics/ with dimensions of the pin layout per my request (I wanted to make sure it would fit). They were helpful offered me ann additional 10% off and shipped just as claimed. I shop them before I decide usually.

For what it’s worth I have a set of artillian and they make pretty nice forks. Not sure if they have the capacity you want, they are pricey, but very well made. I would think for a larger L maybe look at landpride they have several sizes/capacities to choose from. (I have set of them for my MX and very happy with them, the artillian are better built though IMO)

IMO forks are most versatile implement…at least they are for me…i think of them like eye glasses…if you are going to use all the time get decent ones….some folks do just fine off the rack at grocery store and Walmart though too…YMMv. Id start with quality capacity and features, and then see who matches your expectation….then compare prices….they have infinite uses.

As far as fork length, I think get something that sticks through the size pallet you want to handle most frequently unless you have a special requirement. IMO I’d also consider width of the fork…wider is nicer…adds weight so consider for yourself either 3 or 4” …YMMV.

I have the Land Pride forks... 48 inchers.
They'll lift 37 Tons!

I always paint the fork tips white or orange... it helps to see it. But it wears off fast.

Lifting my37 ton log splitter out of my truck a couple years ago.

I had good luck with them. I bought a set of the 42" forks and had them delivered to my home. I've used them a lot without issue. My tractor is a b2650 which has a limited lift capacity so I opted for the shorter forks to keep the weight closer to the pins. With a 3650 I might be tempted to go with the 48" set.

But a longer fork will mostly help, not hurt. Even with a BX or B series.

It will only lift what it can lift, but longer forks doesn't weight that much more. And it greatly increases load stability.

Some people suggest that with the longer ones you are more likely to damage "things behind" your target, so they like the shorter ones.

I am not moving a warehouse of appliances, so that was not a concern of mine, but having that couple of inch's sticking out the back of a "normal" pallet gives me a sense of security (possibly a false sense of security, but it makes me feel better)

One thing I will point out regarding the longer ones ( in my case) is that I made a "trailer hitch" adaptor for mine and the longer tines, coupled with the added length of the adaptor itself, severely reduces its lifting capacity.

So "tongue weight" has been an issue for me occasionally. I'm gonna have to "re-visit" my design one day.

Be careful of that added "lift capacity". In general it means added weight. Which directly reduces the load you can lift.

No point in getting forks rated at 10K if your tractor is rated at ~960 lbs.

I purchased the standard frame and 42" forks from them about 8 months ago. Got them on sale for a very good ptice and delivery was FAST. Currently on sale for $690 - hard to pass that up.

I can find nothing cheap or defective about them and they have seen far more use than I expected.

I have had a couple deliveries where the 42" forks were not quite long enough to reach the reinforced backside of the pallet. Result was broken slats but I managed to handle the load. If I had a redo I would pop for the $15 upgrade to 48" forks

I bought the economy (of course) frame only from them on Amazon 2 or 3 years ago. The economy one doesn't have a backstop. I found a set of used 42" forks locally, which has worked for me. They apparently have added spear sockets which mine doesn't have.

The frame is well made and has withstood my abuse, including pulling trees. I have bent the flange of the bottom cross member, but beat it back. That cross member is made of a piece of bent plate which is plenty strong for lifting, where the forks are pushing against it. However, it is not built to withstand heavy uplifting loads (such as digging under stumps) where the bottom fork hooks pull out on the flange.

I bent that rail on mine doing the same sort pf thing. They are not designed for back dragging big ass stumps and boulders - lesson learned.

I was thinking about buying a set of 60" forks but the ala carte price ifor forks is almost as much as the complete frame and forks package.....

It's good to see that Titan Attachments has a USA made line. GWTC sells a lot of HLA products made in Canada that are engineered for the tractors on which they'll be used. The Pro Series line seems to be similarly priced to the HLA models but I can' t speak to the amount of engineering that goes into them.

I bought LP PFL4648 pallet forks a few years ago for $1,035. Overkill for what I need but they work well.

A member here bought a flail from Titan Attachments if memory serves and it wasn't long before something major broke. The design was terrible and not even close to the quality of a Del Morino but you get what you pay for, even when it comes to pallet forks. I'd rather pay more for something that isn't made in China if at all possible.

I know that these over time will bet beat up but when I buy something new I expect the company to have some pride in their product to deliver it in good shape.

That's frustrating for sure. Do you notice all of the weld spatter and wire around the welds that has been painted or powder coated over? That's not cool and certainly not what you expect from a quality implement manufacturer. Once you start using pallet forks and need to adjust the spacing you'll start to realize why some forks are twice the price.

The pallet forks and grapple I ordered from two different vendors were not wrapped and I did not expect them to be. That looks a little beaten but not because they were not wrapped.
