Hello there, reading on your old forums , this model has 2 Oil strainers, I located the 1st one on my left. But I cannot seem to find the other one. Also Can you tell me is it anti-clockwise if I am directly under the tractor, I am finding it hard to budge it. This is the 1st time anyone actually removed it I guess. Is the other oil strainer the same way to remove?

As TOH has already posted, both are conventional threads. Turn anti-clockwise to remove.

Both are installed very tightly at the factory. Remove the wheels and use an impact wrench with six point socket to remove.

You will want to have new O rings for both on hand.

That’s Good Advice…to use a Six-point socket when using an Impact. One should Also use “Impact Sockets”…. not the typical chrome-plated hand-tool sockets …when using an impact wrench. (Common sockets will split/fail when used with an impact. Impact-sockets are made sturdier and with high-strength alloy that can withstand the beatings of an impact wrench. One of the few, real bargains of HF is their half-inch-drive impact sockets.)

OP probably not interested in Harbor Freight sockets in Australia.
My response to D2Cat was a comment directed to the Forum and no one in-particular…. but, Hey! …he’s a lot closer to the source than WE are! :ROFLMAO:

Thank you very much for your feedback. I was out and about today. but no 26mm adjustable wrench, got out a fixed. I had several go's at trying to remove the screw. I just hope the penetrating oil will work otherwise, I will have to resort to heating up the screw. I will let you know how I went.
Do yourself a BIG favor and use an impact wrench with 6 point socket.

I broke a 1/2" breaking bar trying to remove mine but it whizzed right out with an impact wrench.

No,no,no, not only no, he** no. Not to mention penetrating oil already applied, flame that close to hydraulic fluid risks accidental fire that can spread fast and is difficult to extinguish.

Just MAKE CERTAIN you have the impact wrench turning CCW…. Before you pull the trigger. ;)

Actually you can sometimes get them to break loose by using an impact to tighten it briefly before you try loosening it.

I do not have the appropriate 26mm impact socket.

Thanks you. Just one more thing a tractor friend of mind said that there were tractors that he had driven that when you had drained all the tranny oil, it gets an airlock! Would this be an issue with the B1750 HSTD

Baloney! <edit> (I”m thinking of an air-lock as it applies to draining the system.).> Think about that…. If a tranny goes to work and heats up…the fluid will expand and blow-out seals if there weren’t a vent in the system somewhere to allow for that.
That said, however, it may increase the flow of draining the system if the filler-cap is loosened to increase the intake of air while the fluid drains …as vents are small. Kubota often uses a small “J-shaped” rubber vent-tube on trannys, etc.… hidden beneath seats and behind panels to protect the vent from mud, etc.
