Any known issues with the L47? This would be a big upgrade for me, more $$, looking for pros/cons. Thank you. 2020 model year.

No con that I can think of, The L47 puts you in the big leagues!
Very capable machine!
Make sure it comes with the three point arms, if it doesn't you'll need to buy them.

You should find your three point arms and attachments next to the battery bolted underneath.

How many hours are on it? What kind of shape is it in? Make sure you check out what service has been performed on it.

Only down side is their initial cost. Have switched from the ag tractors and full size backhoe to Kubota TLBs. The needs on the farm have changed over 40 years too.
The TLB series are a heavy duty platform. First one was B20 over 30 years ago. Handy as a pocket on a shirt. If I can’t constantly swing the backhoe while using the FEL on our hillside farm can’t use it. Many two seat backhoes can’t reach the controls.
We change from backhoe to 3pt often. Spend more time in 3pt mode. Once you learn the particular techniques 10-15 minute job.
Once you experience the TLB difference hard to go back to regular ag tractor. 4 post ROPS needed on our mostly wooded property.
Will be a big upgrade for you and that you will enjoy.

The only thing to be aware of is the FEL is not removable.

Try to find a unit with a hydraulic thumb, plus front and rear remotes.
The L47 TLB is a MAJOR upgrade from your L2501.
Thumb, and remotes (if not included) can be added anytime.......but will obviously have a $$$ cost.
I have a 2006 L48TLB......the older brother of the L47 TLB.
Both are fantastic machines.

Well, I took the plunge! Unit does have the hydraulic thumb and 3rd function, I have no need for rear remotes right now. It should be here next week. BTW, dealer had a ton of equipment on site, good to see.

I am excited for you!
You will NEVER regret your decision.

Ford 3400 TLB for 33 years, and Kubota L48 TLB for the past 4 years.
