I feel the same way about both. I have a perfect method for leaves, G-d put them there, let him take them away. That was a reply by an NYC mayor when asked when they would plow the streets of Manhattan back in the 1940s.

We have winds up to 50mph today. All my leaves will be gone shortly

My Lawn Grass doesn't stop growing until Late November....so I am mowing that long anyway. Any leaves just get chopped up with my mulching blades.

I have about 3 acres of front lawn and a couple acres behind the house. But I can go across it all pretty quickly and after October....usually only need to mow it every 7-10 days. Summertime every 4-5 days.

Not 'Kubota' but kind of Orange-ish.....if that helps.

Damp Oak leaves and acorns on a steep hill and the 4WD Kubota becomes an expensive carnival ride !
Made that mistake once, a long long time ago.

No doubt, I hate snow more.

I've got a lot of leaves. Like Dan, lawn trees and have woods behind house.

I get all the maple leaves chopped up, and a month later my neighbor's Northern Red Oak drops all its leaves. Due to prevailing winds, they always blow across the road to end up behind my house.

Not their fault. We've dealt with them for 31 years....

Put me down as a major proponent of both melting and decomposition.

The white x is a 1500 sq ft home. Almost all of that green is oak and will still be dropping leaves on top of the first couple of snows. We move leaves every two days to keep up.

Yup. My maples, black walnuts, shagbarks and white oaks have shed and been cleaned up. But the red oaks across the road have just dropped and don't get cleaned up, and that front is just now coming through with high wind warnings, so I am watching the leaves roll across the road and fetch up in the fences and flower beds and against the house. I think it is going to be nicer next week so I can get rid of some of them. Some I leave as a protective mulch until next spring.

I'm actually not listening to any song right now, I'm listening to a podcast (shoutout to Bill Burr) but I was listening to some music earlier. The last song I listened to was sssniperwolf album with this merch and A$AP Rocky. It's a nice song. To me, it's relaxing or chilling. It has a nice instrumental a great flow and some pretty interesting lyricism. It is basically just Tyler and A$AP bragging but sometimes songs are basic like that. The music video as well is nicely done.

We had a wind storm yesterday so the leaves are off my lawn and pile up round the house!

We have snow in this weekend's forecast I'll take leaves over snow any day.

Neither.
Spring time MUD is WORSE !!

Falling leaves signals THE change in the seasons....

Snow, looks pretty, from inside a nice warm house...

MUD is just miserable.
Can't get into the fields to plant.
Can't till the veggie gardens,
Can't cross the lawns
CAN get the BX23S stuck in the 'wallow' though.....

I just love when that happens ;)
Had one day of calm winds and today back to 35mph. This time out of the northwest. Our highs will drop from the mid 60’s to the upper 30’s
