2022 Kubota LX2610 jerky

Our new. 2022 LX2610 seems very jerky. Try as we may to be gentle on the controls the loader and forward and reverse seem very jerky. It's a good thing we had the sprayer strapped to the forks or my wife might have flipped it clean over the back of the tractor. Just trying to roll it back a might.

My wife is used to me on other equipment and keeps getting to close when I am operating this machine. Causing me to yell at her.

Had 2 friends run it with the same opinions on the jerkiness of operation.

Are all Kubotas like this?

Is there a fix?

Other than toting the sprayer around for a few hours yesterday, we have maybe 1/2 hour on the machine. Mostly getting it out of the shed so they could take it back to the dealership and unloading it when they bring it back.

Just a thought, but how about going back to the dealer and trying out the loaders (and so on) on a few different tractors, to see if yours operates differently.

If yours is considerably different, get them to fix it.

I have found that running at lower rpm's takes alot of the jerkiness out of the loader and making finer moves in low range helps too.

I have a 2022 LX2610 HSD with the cab. I have 52 hours on it now. Mine does not feel overly jerky going forward, backward, or with the loader. Everything operates very smoothly. The only time I get a slight jerk is if I'm taking off in high at about 1700 rpms.

I do have the 60" mmm. I've cut with it twice now and so far I haven't had any weird noises. I did see your thread about it. I'll be cutting grass tonight so I'll pay closer attention to it and let you know if I hear anything like what you described. But I am also set at the 2.5" height.

Not that I am aware of. If yours is so jerky that you almost lost the sprayer off of the forks I would think there is something wrong with the system. That seems excessive to me.

Thanks, I'd appreciate knowing if you hear anything. The easiest way for me to replicate it is the have the mower fully raised, engage blades, adjust rpm to about 2500, then slowly drop the deck. The noises kick in about half way down and then continue until raised again.

I have about 6 hours on my new 2610 cab and the only time I feel like it jerks is when I am trying to creep backward, it will slowly move then it jerks and you an hear the trans get louder. It does not do this in forward. The only other function that seems jerky is the FEL tilt forward or down but it seems like the stick is more sticky then it is the hydro. If I give it a quick push then I can feather all I need. Its just that initial input that drops those forks pretty quick. I test drove a different 2610 with a cab as well at a different dealer and that one was very jerky on the forward and reverse.

This is what I'd suggest. Maybe it's just not what you're used to compared with other machines.

I don't consider the controls on my B2650 jerky, but I try to work them with a soft touch.

3 different people. Same conclusion. It's mostly roll back and tilt.
No matter how hard you try to ease into it, it does the big flip.
Never had a piece of equipment I hated so much and haven't used yet.
If it was in my name, it would have been returned weeks ago.

I have just 10 hours on my LX2610SU and It doesn’t feel jerky to me at all.
It actually feels very responsive.
Maybe it’s just what I’m used to, because I don’t have much experience operating a tractor.

Have 50 hours on mine and I find the stick is very responsive, meaning, small movements result in just the right amount of bucket/grapple movement without being jerky. When I occasionally move the stick too quickly or too much it will jerk for sure. It's taken some practice but I can finesse it pretty well now without issues.

95+ hours on LX SU - no problems with the FEL controls/response or any lurching with the transmission. I have leveled 3 sites with the FEL and box blade (largest 30x30 feet) and moved/spread over 85 tons of gravel on the sites and driveway.
