Started reading this forum in April, began contemplating buying a new tractor. Y’all are great, so much information. My 63 Ford 2000 has served me well the last 15+ years, gardening and light work. My company forklift seals leak all over my shop floors, so the second week of November I, with the help of this sites tremendous insight and info, decided to order a new Kubota L2501 with front loader, backhoe, and few other implements. Dealer had no L2501’s or any backhoe’s or the braces to attach it. Told me would probably be next year But he would try. I placed the order and God is good, it arrived today. Don’t know what I will do first with it but I am very excited. Thanks to all that post here, the opinions and knowledge is very helpful. Steered me away from The Deere, LS, Mahindra, and Bobcat.

Welcome!
I was able to for more work accomplished in a the first couple months than I had in a year with my old JD. Of course, I found more things to do as well. Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome, I have enjoyed my old Ford. She is still 6 volt system and starts every time I need her. Can't decide whether to sell her or just keep her in shop with the LGT165 as keep sakes.

Welcome to the site.
Regarding the Ford Keep it. I sold my Ford 5600 when I got my new Kubota wish I hadn’t. Not because it’s needed just because it’s missed lol
I didn’t have room for it under a roof and couldn’t just let it sit outside unused. It was getting pretty tired and starting to show it’s age really bad already. I always wanted to do a full resto on it but never the time on place. Another deciding factor was the cash offer I got. Blew me away. Paid 5000 for it 20+ Years ago got 10000 this year with just the beat up loader no attachments. Those 5600s were great tractors though and buddy that bought it knew all about them. He was happy I was happy but now I’m kinda sad about it lol I’ll get over it one year

Was able to get a few group photos before she left though.
She's still a beauty in her own right. Thanks for the input. I would hate to sell her, she has provided me with alot but man, hard to deny the money they bring now too!!

I initially planed to buy a case or deer backhoe and keep the Ford. Good luck with the crazy market in my area right now. After months I stumbled across the m7060 posted the Ford to see what it would bring with a testing the waters kinda online add. Sold within days. I’ll be shopping backhoe attachment in the spring payed for from the Ford. The last job I needed it to do. And it did it like a boss. I was only really hoping to get my initial 5G back. Now I’m thinking new hoe. Don’t tell the wife lol

The money might be nice but I’d have a hard time letting go of that. It will likely be at least one more generation before our Farmall H or 9N leave the property.

There is just something about a man and his tractor. Tim Allen, he got it.

I bought my first tractor when I was still living at home with the parents, my father thought I was crazy.

Keep it!
I never use mine, but I still have my 1951 8N.
My kids can sell it if they so choose.
