When we built our home 30 years ago I had my toolbox stolen from the site. Since then I've replaced many of the 'usual' tools. It wasn't until I started working on the tractor that I realized how many more tools I needed!

Of course I had to have the Dewalt cordless grease gun. Oh, I needed a complete set of metric box wrenches. Then there is the set of ratcheting box wrenches. The list goes on and on and I don't think it ends soon.

I just built out a simple tool kit to carry in the truck for when im on the road with the machine. The problem is, on the tractor there are a lot of really large fasteners to cover, and the regular sized stuff, they add up fast.

LOL - Mine would read, "Nobody ever told my wife.....". Fortunately the first tool I ever bought when we were together, I made some cash with the following weekend. Fortunately she was quick to realize that tools make/save money and never gives me grief for buying them.

I have a gut feeling I'm buying one before weekend is over lol

Amazon has a $50.00 off if buying $200.00 certain Dewalt deals. I have several batterys so may get just tools this round.

I laughed heartily back in the 1960’s when they came out with an Electric Can Opener.
THAT had to be the silliest thing ever, in my mind... I mean... what decadence! Canned food was ALREADY lazy enough...Right?

Then, it became the ”must have” item for the kitchen and all we had throughout the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s was an electric can-opener of one brand or other.

Then, in 2000... I was given a manual can-opener that un-ROLLS the top-edge of the can and doesn’t drop the lid or cuttings (or electric can-opener grease) into the opened can. It’s so effortless to use and so efficient.... it’s a permanent item in the kitchen and I wouldn’t have any other.

In my younger days as a mechanic I disassembled and hand-packed all bearings and sleeves with grease. Then when I learned how convenient lever-action grease-guns were I bought one. It had to be hand-packed from a tub. It was messy, but an efficiency-improvement. I later replaced it with a cartridge-fed lever-action and threw the other away.... because, Who the Hell needs more than one?

Then two (after I was taught why never to mix different grease types.).
Then a third when I bought a boat that required water-proof marine/boat-trailer grease.

Then a 4th, when I read the Kubota FEL needed Moly grease instead of common lithium General-Purpose grease.
Now I own FIVE manual grease-guns (4 lever-action and 1 pistol-grip for small jobs.)

I cleaned the grease-guns outer-surface with acetone and painted them different colors to identify which type grease is in them.

Now you guys are buying ELECTRIC GREASE GUNS?

GEEZUS! How decadent can you GET??

Hmmmnnn......

I saw something about screw on grease tubes and guns the other day. That sounds like a good improvement in cleanliness of that tool. It will probably take decades for all the manufacturers to get on that track though so I probably won’t wait

No where Special
As all this stuff comes out, and everything is made easier, we will now wither away into dust because we have no muscles left and stopped exercising to even pick up the toys we bought.

Shame shame on all of you and your electric grease guns. You`ve weakened yourselves to the technology.

So, where can a guy get a good deal on one of them fancy lectric greezin guns...????? Just askin for a friend.

My need-to-get tool list adds items faster than they are removed. Not unlike my to-do list...
