How do you deal with snow?

The 2750D snowblower on my BX2360 made quick work of the 6.5” we got the other day. Very happy with it!
The hydro blade works great, but I just picked up a front snowblower, so I’m actually looking forward to clearing some snow

My BX2750D snowblower handled 34” this March very well! It’s probably dealt with 12” + at least once or twice each winter since 2013.
This was second pass on neighbor’s driveway that day, and I did the whole neighborhood. Still have a $100 restaurant gift card another older neighbor gave me. That was nice, but not necessary, and I told them so. I said that’s what neighbors do where I come from! Not the first time they’ve heard that from me. Those folks and us have been neighbors 27 years - good people.
The Mrs. took the picture from the comfort of our living room window! I don’t mind, because I like it!!!

I think that I am going to try a new approach this year. I'm going to hibernate until Easter and then look to see if there is still snow on the driveway!

Snow blower isn't any good in my neck of the woods. Snow is too wet and usually has sleet, slush, and ice underneath it. Snow blower might toss it 6". I usually hit the driveway and road Sith the back blade and move it too the edges of the road. Should be fun this year with a loader on the tractor
Haven't even got the loader mounted yet, and I'm already thinking about rigging up a snow plow for the loader arms

Yep, same here!
Blowers work great, but never failed to blast me with a face full of snow (precab).

Yeah, cab is not an option for me. Would never fit under trees mowing.
Not a fan of snow in the face, but I do my best thinking sitting in that seat!!

Initially I built my cab so that it could easily be removed by 3 strong me and a lot of profanity, so I could mow with my tractor. However I accidently bought a kubota zero turn, so now I can leave it on year round.
This is the second generation cab for me, my first was on a '71 new holland, and it was made out of plywood.

my excuse to buy my first tractor was to snow blow, grass, loader and more.

How is the rear blower? I was always afraid of them since I have back problems, I imagine the constant twist would put a bit of strain on the back.

I turn about half way around in the seat so it's not too hard on the back. Gets a little old on the neck tho.
But not has hard on the neck as a front mount blower is on the wallet!
I use a rear mounted snowblower on the Bx. That works well for 4 or more inches of snow. Less than that, the loader is good. I'd love a chance to try that rear mount blower on 20 or more inches, wind permitting. Hah.
Western plow blade on the Fordson with a back blade in reserve. Bucket and 60 inch blower on the Hurlimann. Good to go.
I just swapped the early season blade for the "seasonal " front mounted blower on the Bolens HT.
When the metal comes in. the B7200 will sport a front mount blower to compete for favor over the Bolens.
Snow is welcome here, but it takes time to put it in it's place. I'm liking the idea of letting the sleeping dog lie. I mean, where do I really need to go ;-)

Best way I've found was to leave snow country and move farther south like I did in 1962.
Mother nature can be cruel though, she dumped snow on us in south Texas a while back.
