Have you ever check how much fuel you use in a hour?
Just messing around wile mowing today, Topped the tank off, Than mowed for 1-hour, and topped off again.
I was quite surprised the MX Used 2-gal, I kept it @ 540/550 on the pto. No lugging, just a constant smooth ground speed.

Would like to see some comparison's on different size machines.

Have 136 hours on this Kubota, .6 gallon average.
It is a Tier 4 engine so run 2000 rpm as a minimum.
I think this is very good fuel use for a tractor of this size.

All I know is that I can cut the same land with my BX and use about half the fuel than what I used in a gas motor, same size tractor and deck. Yeah she do just sip fuel,,, makes me happy

I went from five gallons of gas to do my two acres down to 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of diesel if I can keep the yard cut short I can get three mowings per tank/ five gallons of diesel

Yep, my MX 5100 seems to burn about 1.5 per hour. I am glad she is pre Tier 4, as I can run it about 1800 rpm all day. My 20 yr old L3010 seems to be about .6-.7 per hour at 2000 rpm, but it has about half the size engine as the MX.

My BX24, hauling limbs and pine needles, etc. to the burn pile, doing a little dressing up with the fel at 2200 rpm uses about 1 1/2 qts an hour. Plowing snow with the fel it uses about 2 qts an hour at 2200 on average.

I don't have any exact figures, but don't believe my M5140 uses any more than 2 gals/hr doing heavy loader work, bottom plowing or mowing some really heavy bahia grass.... probably less. Otherwise it's probably around 1 - 1.5 per hour. Will try to keep some records on fuel consumption in the future. My tractor is around your hp, but a little heavier...... 52 hp.....4550 lbs.

Ya, mine was at a constant 2700rpm, @540.= 2-gal....72'' woods,,, I'm sure mine is around 1/1.5 wile using the foot throttle.

B7610, 24hp. 11 hrs of use = 5.3 gallons. Hogging at 2200 rpm, not 2800. FEL work, York rake.... Im not fond of cranking small motors if I dont need to.

L3800DT, 38hp, 1800-2000 rpm mowing with 5' hog, 1 gal per hour max in heavy grass, 1/2-3/4 gal per hour for lighter mowing, box blade or FEL work.

BX25D TBL has over the last year and half been very consistent at 1.36 liters per hour which I think works out to 0.36 gph and that digging and loading; no joy riding and no long idling periods and no lawn mowing. RPMs vary higher with the hoe and lower for the moving soil.

All depends on the task but my M9000 (92 hp) burns just over 1 gph, and that's mowing hay, baling or pulling a batwing. It uses less than that doing lighter work.

My L3000 (32 hp) burns around .5 gph on average.

WOW, That's Excellent for a 90hp machine. I have always thought this 50hp was a little thirsty. I'm in the process of figuring fuel usage (ball park) with the generator at 540 pto it needs.

Just checked the dash reading on my L 3560 and it reads 1.5 l per hr, or 0.396 gal per hr. Tier 4 with dpf, naturally aspirated. 76 hrs, 3 regenerations, usually run in auto throttle so variable rpm, mostly hauling manure etc in the bucket, or blading or raking stuff.

Well, I was kind of surprised when I started running at PTO speed, I would never thought it would do 2-gal... Before just doing ripping, box blade and loader work it didn't seem to bad, But of course it was well below 2700 rpm.

Orange Turbo, I didn't realize your tractor requires 2700 rpm for pto. My 52 hp is only 2295 rpm. Different designs I guess, but the engines are very similar.

My L3800HST uses 1 gallon per hour whether I am using the backhoe on stumps or dragging a box blade.

Yes, to compare some parameters need to be established......like @540, under a load, etc... Probably need a minimum number of hrs operating to calculate fairly accurate fuel usage.....like at least 4 hrs?
