I also made up a couple with the slide hooks like chokers for pulling logs and brush. Found a nice twisted clevis but only had a one inch pin so had to make a brass bushing for the draw bar to keep it from rattling

They’re a type of chain choker hook. It’s the style that came with the chain chokers supplied with my Farmi winch. They’re quite reliable for staying hooked, IME.

That project turned out well. Looks great!
I put one on my BH77 when I first got it and I didn't have to do any grinding to get it installed and working. I also have the OEM mechanical thumb. Do you have any pictures of what you have done so far?
Finally woke the beast from the winter slumber. Used it to move some dirt piles. Made two bigger bumps into three smaller ones. Braapp!
Side note, 65hrs and still no regen. Love this thing, sips fuel. Maybe it's defective, but fuel gauge said "full" even after 3 hrs today.

Thanks! These photos show how the D-ring and stop work on the drawbar. Now I have four good locations for chains and binders.
What was supposed to be a 3-hour discing job today turned into a 6-hour job. The property owner is very pleased with how it turned out, but more importantly, his Highland Heifers (the inspectors) are pleased, and all the work is to give them more pasture. They'll be bred this summer so will have calves next spring and he wants to make sure they have plenty of grazing. He wants me to come back next year and disc up another 3 acres. He has a New Holland 3037 or something that came with the property and he's going to borrow a drag harrow from a neighbor and smooth the field out prior to seeding.
The M6060 and Schafer disc did great and the six coulters worked out really well. The objective is to chop up the top 8" or so and the disc did just that. I made overlapping passes and then a variety of crossing passes. Speaking of the disc, I'll weld stops each side of the coulter mounting brackets since a couple moved sideways on the 3"x3"x3/8" tubing. All six coulters maintained the elevation setting, but lateral loading in the turns did move a couple of brackets an inch or so. An easy fix though.
There are some steep sections in this field but no trouble at all for the tractor. And finally a use for those SMV signs!

How'd it feel going down the road?
Ford calls it Rapid Red. I was ambivalent about the color but it has really grown on me. If ordering a truck I would have played it safe and chosen silver, grey or dark green, but the red is striking for sure.Oh my tell me that is a ‘Ruby Red’.

No reason for using both triangles other than one came off each tractor so I have two laying around.
Honestly, the truck was awesome but the gooseneck trailer can't get here soon enough. With long loads there are no options to position the load properly and I felt that the trailer was tongue heavy. The power of the F-450 and the 10-speed transmission, as well as all the bells and whistles such as backup, side and front cameras make for an excellent driving experience. The truck is far exceeding my expectations at this point.
I was surprised to notice that the entire 12" center display automatically switches to a camera view when making a turn, the side of the truck on the inside of the turn to be more specific. This is my first time towing with this truck so I hadn't seen that feature yet. This is also the first time I've had a working backup camera on a truck to help align the trailer coupler and ball hitch, and that feature is a plus for sure.
She did look like she was up just barely in the front. Ever so slightly. Hard to tell on a 450 though.

Then I headed off out front to cut up by the road.
I was in a pretty good mood until I got up there and saw how much garbage useless individuals have been throwing out on me. Dang near half a buckets worth. What in the actual hell is wrong with folks. I never had this mentality even as a kid. You get where you need to go and then throw your crap away, not while going down the road.
The same people that do this are the same ones that would become extremely confrontational if they saw you throwing crap into their front yard. Whatever, I'll always continue to pick up after these less contributors to society.
Atleast we're all cleaned and cut and lookin good.

I fully understand your trash frustration. We have the same issue with the few hundred feet of frontage.
I used to clean and cut it even though the state should be doing it.
Endless battle. Nothing is ever done to people who toss trash out of their cars and when we pick up, there's always more tossed the next day . So we got tired of it and finally gave up last year.
Especially when we started getting urine filled bottles.
Let them look at the litter every day that wasn't good enough to be in their car.
Maybe they'll start complaining about the mess the roadsides around here are.
It is definitely an endless battle. And unfortunately they never quit.
This is why "their" sides of town always tend to look the way they do.....atleast in my parts.
