The rod alignment for the bucket and front snow blade is the same on the MX. The pallet forks are another matter altogether with the "sweet spot" being about 2" away from the bend in the rod.
I'm sure they are a little different between the standard L and the MX haha.

The storm models have shifted way south so the initial reports of us getting dumped on midweek have all but fizzled out, thankfully! I spent the weekend looking for a plow and had an almost deal on a Kubota 60" SSQA plow and land pride forks from a guy selling a B2601 combo, but he sold the whole deal, oh well! I used the tractor to move some firewood and load up the woodshed I built last weekend. My buddy is coming later this week to start a basement renovation so the tractor will get some use hauling construction supplies and demo debris.

In Fall when it started to get cold out I put standard snowplow markers on both sides of the cabin driveway at the turns, and in the middle of straight stretches. Not a long driveway but a lot of markers. It helps vehicles stay on the drive and especially for acting as guides when I'm plowing. Never lost a vehicle off the side because nobody wants to hit a marker. 🙅‍♂️
There's a fence that runs the entire length of the driveway, which is an easement along the edge of my property. You'd think that it wouldn't be too hard to keep away from the fence and out of the ditch that's next to the fence. The picture doesn't really show how steep it is but there's a good hill that starts at the gate on the right, and in some sections the ditch is quite deep.

I offered to plow my neighbor's driveway who had like 3 feet and another foot on top of it at the roadside so they couldn't even leave.

But he insisted of doing it with a small snowblower.

Years ago I used to plow their driveway for free with the side by side. His wife didn't mind and was really thankful but he was upset and offended.

But since this was the biggest storm we had in ages and I have a tractor, I just wanted to be nice and help clean up. Just trying to be neighborly.

But hey you know what...not my problem!

I do that as well. Helps to see the bright orange against the snow or reflecting in the headlights. Haven’t got any snow to worry about up till

Brought the box blade to work with hopes of welding a receiver to the backside for trailers and such. Couldn’t find a suitable way without mass fabrication, abandoned that idea. Since it was here decided to weld up a quick basket for chains and the like. Pretty happy with it. Rattle can skills could use some help, but who is gonna see it? Other than the internet of course!

You might have invented a way to screen dirt with a box blade! 😂 Rocky dirt in, screened dirt out the top.

All my trailers are 2" ball, I bolted up one of these to my box blade for moving them around, works like a dream. They also make a 2" receiver option then you have some flexibility in drawbar.

This is an option I hadn't thought about!
My initial thought was to butt weld a 2” receiver tube to the box, but after thinking about it, I don’t believe that would hold up over time. Even if I added some type of gusset top or bottom. Then thought about sinking the tube into the plate and welding both sides, that’d be plenty strong. Here’s what I have to work with, top placement seems too high and plate is angled, I do have an adjustable height hitch I could make work. Still concerned about the angle. And lower position seems, well, just too low.

I should have taken some measurements while attached to tractor… oops.

TEXAS WEATHER JUST BE THROWING OUT TEMPERATURES LIKE POWERBALL NUMBERS 76 9 27 19 83

High today 76, tomorrow night windchill single digits expected. Y'all folks up North really need to keep that white & cold crap up North.

Anyways storing water in the shop for the water troughs and I put out some round bales with Kuboter.

I'd cut an angle on the rear of the receiver tube so that the tube is horizontal when the blade is in the "tow" position. I'd then add gussets top and bottom. It'd be plenty strong. The top gusset could tie into the 3/8" plate above the receiver as shown.

I know, I wish it'd stay over there with y'all but looks like its coming right over here. Almost 70 today, 20 tomorrow.

Hate seeing those buds coming out this early.

2 years ago it did this exact same thing. Had majority of our blueberries budded. Then of course that last freeze comes and wipes everyone out.

I installed edge tamers on my bucket and did a practice run on the driveway. Loader was in float mode. Picked up some gravel, not much snow in driveway yet.
For the folks that use edge tamers, ~what angle do you run the bucket while pushing snow? The picture below is bottom of bucket parallel to ground.

I looked at a few pictures I had with box blade on tractor, thinking I’ll split the difference and mount receiver on the bend of that back plate. Gonna just suck it up and drill me a square hole so I can weld both sides.

We are sapost to get 11" - 18" of snow today and tonight in Forsyth Mo. Problem is I am in Atglen Pa. Before we left I showed our daughter how to drive the tractor and she got a big smile on her face. I told her just drive it in and out the drive a few times and don't use the bucket. The drive is over 1/2 mile long. My youngest son is 25 miles away and is going to check on her tomorrow.
