Wonderful photos! Where is this?
Several years ago one of my sons and I took a mc ride to GNP. Unfortunately it was too early and Going to the Sun Road hadn't opened. We opted to loop around Flathead Lake - no small lake (at least by CT standards
). It is a really beautiful lake / area. I still remember the 'free standing' gas pumps that served as gas stations. No one there. Just put your credit card in and pump away.On another ride we rode out of Wyoming in the pouring rain all day and pulled into Missoula around noon, totally soaked and cold. I think it was a Perkins that we pulled into - looked like heaven to me.
I took these photos from the top of my property yesterday evening as I headed out on a trail behind the house. That's Canada in the distance.
An old school friend sent these pictures of the aurora over Gustavus, AK a couple of days ago.
I had dinner at my friend's place on Flathead River last night. Hopefully I'll be using his boat ramp sooner than later once the water level in the river comes up. I'll be cutting his fields in a month or two as I've done for the last three years.

Encountered my first dung beetle today. Gypsy was pretty upset when we encountered it. She kept trying to brush dirt onto it

Actually, there were quite a few more scattered about out there that weren't in the camera's view. If you actually want to see wild horses, Nevada is the place. According to the Government, wild horse population in Nevada is ~ 40,000. A lot of taxpayer money is spent every year on wild horse gathers. They have no natural enemies so they overpopulate and there's not enough fodder and water to keep them alive.Everyone can easily tell there’s 88….

Also got this photo of a trespasser. I saw her and her sis again a little while later. They were about 20ft behind the camper in the back yard
