I believe all 3 sets of mine, installed was like $1200-$1500 3 or so years ago.

Sounds about right. Three years ago I paid $1,305 for three sets of Kubota wheel weights (600lb total) installed on my MX6000 which included some shipping cost no doubt. It was a lot more expensive to get three sets of wheel weights for the M6060 but the difference in weight is close to 400lb.

I like ballast boxes. They're cheap, they work well, they sit close to the back of the machine so you don't bang them into things, you can take them off when you're not using them. Even if you get wheel weights.....think about a ballast box.
