Hey all just bought it Friday it gets delivered this Friday.

They are filling the tires, I asked for wheel spacers and it is not an option?

Every old tractor I always had, flipped rear wheels or added spacers and filled tires.

I asked why? And basically they won't fit with the the backhoe...that makes no sense to me, travel is not 180 degrees so they won't hit,why is it not an option?

Also hope getting the modified tires that look like a mud truck tire wasn't a mistake, always have had R1`s

Everyone likes pictures, here it is in parking lot, thanks

We love our tractor porn,, nice rig,,, yes I put 2 inch spacers on mine with filled tires,, dealer said they would interfere with the MMM ,, nope works fine, you are moving the wheels outward not back, so the outriggers should clear, I dont see a problem,,, but then what do I know,, And welcome to the orange

As Skeets stated, the only issue could be with a Mid Mount Mower (mmm). I would get a second opinion from another dealer.

curious as to why you're filling the tires ?
Slow side hill running slow you get the wt. ,it feels comfy...and these kubota have torque and power to weight, so it helps overall traction, atleast in the bigger tractors,it worked...so figured apples to apples

Thanks Sir`

Getting older and stuff getting heavier, so we will slow down and take more time to do a project, than grabbing big tractor and being done in 8 hours, for happy hour.

I have the 54” MMM deck on my B2601, I think wheel spacers would cause a conflict with the anti-scalp wheels on the deck. As to why you can’t use them with the BH, it would seem they will fit, but perhaps Kubota, or your dealer, isn’t a fan of spacers with a BH? I think you’ll need an L if you want adjustable width rims, although I’m not 100% sure if that, maybe it’s the non R1 rims that aren’t adjustable on the B? I know the R1 rims on my L can be adjusted for additional width.

As to the R14 tires, I have them. If you’re going to operate in moist to wet soil or mud, you will wish you had the R1s. The R14s load up really easily. I’d probably have gone with the R1s if I knew what I do now when I bought it a couple years ago.

Congrats on the new machine!

Love that BH too!

Not sure if you have ever owned a BH before, but they are awesome.....expensive, but still awesome to have. I love mine.

re: Slow side hill running
do that enough times and your widow will be rich. sadly have lost too many farmer friends from do that. they cheated death for years, some decades, but 'he' finally won.

BTW you don't need tire ballast with the BH (K says so..) and you don't want more weight when cutting grass.

it's not crazy hills at all. I have had friends and neighbors get hurt/killed over the years on these so I am aware of the dangers, thanks for heads up

My buddies have BX models and I love their BH, this is a little bigger, one of my friends may trade his in for one of these after I sent him a picture

What I will say is look at what you are doing, think it through, then think how can I muck this up, then think it through again, then slow , it will et faster,, what ever you do dont get complacent ;)
