Have piped it like a pecker... works fine when stationary
tracking or operating arm takes most of power away
Have tried many pipe options... without success
Any advice please

Rotating attachments like mulchers usually have a 3 line setup, the third for motor drain. You also need to set up for high flow at the operator interface.

Thanks for that...the femac flail has a drain from the block back to the motor... negating the need for a third pipe apparently. I have set up high flow. ... and the mower runs fast and smooth... with momentum. ... cutting light material it copes fine...when running in mid air with no load if I track just slightly you can hear the rotor loosing speed... then build back up once I stop tracking. Its similar. ... but less power loss when I operate the boom.
