While shopping for my first tractor I looked at a BX and remember jumping on and right off because of the pedal. No interest at all. I don't remember exactly what the pedal looked like, but my foot refused to consider that tractor. I have used small tractors with dual pedals and I could probably get used to them.
I have owned a small 2WD Cub 154 LoBoy gear trans, a Ford 1210HST, as well as B7500HST, L3200HST & L4240 HSTC Kubotas. Can't remember what the pedals looked like on them but none were difficult to use. The 4240 pedal looks like the one in Post #3. There is no need for brake-assisted turning anywhere I operate. Heck I don't need the brake to stop. The brake pedal is almost exclusively used to set and release the parking brake.
