Nice to see a restoration on the early Kubota. Will be nice to see it finished.

Wolfman, What has happened to the forum page? It has gotten real wide.

Thank you. This little guy has sure taught me what to look for if I ever decide to buy another old tractor. I sure have learned a lot.:)

What function would have gone in this location? Cant find any info on it.
Does it have the same bolt spread as the lever in the upper left? That case could have been used for other tractors?
I had a cherry B5100D 4x4 that was my first Kubota. Had the thermosyphon Z482, 2 cylinder. I wish I had never sold it. Just didn't have a front loader and that's what I needed. Own a 2009 B3200 non emission hydrostat, Great work horse.

Yes, The lever in the upper left is for the PTO.

I do believe mid PTO, which your tractor does not have, if I remember right actually none of the B6100 or B7100 had a selectable mid PTO.

That same case was used on many different models, and they might have used that location on the F units.
