The elusive ‘belk’ finally found in Banff National Park!
After years of rumours and stories, Parks Canada staff captured this image of the stunning and elusive mammal in the Banff National Park backcountry.
Remember, if you spot a belk or any other wildlife while spending time outdoors:
✔️
Give them plenty of space
✔️
Never feed wildlife
✔️
Dispose of all garbage and food waste appropriately
✔️
Keep your pets leashed

I feel like there should have been a tourist in the photo trying to pet it

When I started smoking, it was regular Camels (non-filtered) because as a kid it was easy to get an extra pack "for Mom" when she sent m,e for hers. Then I went through pipe (Borkum Riff black and a Lebanon PA store-blended Brazilian Cavendish). Still love a cigar once every year of two but pretty much quit smoking about 40 years ago. Did some Red Man and Copenhagen for years after that, but quit all about a dozen years ago.

Some guy in Germany got the valve sequence of his Mercedes OM617 Diesel engine tatooed on his forearm so that he can tick them off when adjusting them ...

Along those lines, be careful when mowing around cars, it's pretty easy to kick up a rock and put it through someone's window!
Had it happen to me from a guy that had the deflector tied up so it wouldn't clog up with grass. A golf-ball sized rock came through my window and hit me. Fortunately the glass absorbed enough of the energy to keep it from hurting me, but normally I drive with my windows down unless the temperature is at least 95F. Fortunately for me it was a cool morning and I had it up. Couldn't prove it was his rock and there were no witnesses, so I wound up eating the cost for a new window. Now if I see one on the shoulder I lay on the horn and pretend I've lost control of the truck and make them think they're about to die. They point the mower a different direction quickly.

Actually it was Grandpa giving me a tenner to go in and get a carton of Kool Menthol non filters 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
I think I was buying them for myself at that age.
