Yes, she usually goes off the patio onto the grass and lays in the sun in the heat of the day. 15-20 minutes later she is pawing at the door to come back in the house. Like I said the yellow lab isn't fond of being out in the sun at all during a hot day.

Day 3. Things are going pretty good. Petey is settling in and Denali is finding out about this thing called sharing

Been lurking for a while looking at tractor stuff. First post is about the dog.
We've had him a bit over 6 weeks. He's a boxer cross labrador. We think he is about 16 months old but aren't 100% as the details on his microchip didn't sound correct.
MkFirst photo is when we got him from the pound. A very skinny and timid boy.

This is him now. Looks very serious but is a cheeky and mischievous boy who loves water

Hard to believe its been 14 years since I came home from a trade show and my then wife asked me to "just" look at this cute dog at the county dog shelter.

I was still missing our last German Shepherd Dog that had passed recently and the last thing I wanted was another dog to get attached to, especially a little ankle biting mutt!

That little knucklehead with the goofy floppy ears quickly settled in and has become a wonderful companion. Like me, her hair is turning white, but so far I see no signs of her slowing her roll!

Yesterday was a fantastic weather day, low humidity , coolish temps and overall a fun day to watch her enjoy the land.

Took this ding dong for a walk up the equine park yesterday afternoon to burn off excess energy.
Made him dinner when we got back but he wasn't hungry which is very out of character.
Whilst getting our dinner ready he vomited a mix of dog biscuits and kangaroo poo all over the rug. Then proceded to scoff his dinner. 🫣
