Am I stuck with R4’s?

Those tires on mcmxi's ride, looks more like R14's than R4's!
They look awesome!

The more I used the siping tool the more I wanted to continue using it. It's very satisfying running that hot blade through a lug and kind of hard to put it down. I only used one blade for all of the cuts but I think that's because I had the current turned down which resulted in a really nice finish on the cut surface of the rubber, and good blade life.

I made up stencils and used a silver sharpie to mark the lugs before cutting. I figured I'm only going to do this once so might as well do it right. Thanks again to the generosity of @pokey1416 who mailed his groover to me. I did mail it back in case anyone is wondering.

From what I read a bit ago, the point of the R14s is to replace R1s or R4s. So, some company might make R14s, but it could be some work to find the right size to replace the R4s.

I'd try contacting tire manufacturers.

I tried Discount Tire, no luck. Amazon had R4 with the rim was 300 and change. 160 for the tire only. I purchased both because I destroyed my rim. Now I have R4’s instead of R14.
