    Kubota Hours

I haven't set any records with my L4310 yet as it only has 930 hours on it. Still looks and operates just like new.

    Question on service for L4310

I thought of that too. I took them out and carefully inspected them and reinserted. I think the sensor is haywire because I started it up with no filters in and the light stayed on. I have no idea where that sensor is but I see nothing in the area that has wires attached .

    Question on service for L4310

Well I checked the air cleaners and they are like new. But the light stays on. Wondering if there is a reset for that light. ??? Inquiring minds you know :-)

    Question on service for L4310

I think you are correct. Now that I look at it, it shows an arrow pointing into an engine I presume. I recently installed a new air cleaner but I'll check it again. Maybe a mouse built a nest in there. :-) Thank you for your answer.

    Question on service for L4310

Been awhile since I been here. Mostly due to a computer crash. I have the above mentioned tractor. When I bought it used it didn't come with the operating manual. This morning a strange light came on on the dashboard. I can't figure out what it means its just to the right of the lights that come...

I've been using the dyed diesel in my L4310 ever since I got it. It's around 2 bux a gallon here in Montana

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That's the third early tractor I know of that broke in half. I saw one that the casing actually broke from the engine. I don't think the engineering was there in that day like it is now.

Kubota L2950 - is it grey market?

Diesel smoke puffs upon acceleration L4310

I also have exactly the same tractor you have. On start up, there is a puff of black smoke but thereafter absolutely never see smoke. I have 900 hrs on mine. So something has changed it appears. I would go the biocide route to start with and then maybe some fuel injector cleaner.

    Rock Bucket Doing Work

Wow! how lucky you are. When the glaciers retreated this area 10,000 years ago, it dropped half of Canada right here. I've been moving some for landscaping purposes. Some weigh more than 2500 but Mr. Kubota handles them fine.

Everything was going good until.... Buzzzz

BTW< I lived in Arizona fro 11 years until I couldn't deal with the heat. I've seen plenty of rattlesnakes and even Gila Monsters down there. But the biggest threat by far was the killer bees. Lots of folks die every year down there from those . You don't have much time to get help either once...

Everything was going good until.... Buzzzz

I ran into a swarm of honey bees once on my Goldwing motorcycle. It took a week before I could get them out of the radiator. Luckily only one went under my leather jacket and got me. The bike was a real mess.

Hoping to find a site that lists all Kubota tractors in order of manufacturer. Just wanted to see how they evolved etc.

    Level indicator

I don't think the sticker itself is the level indicator. It's the fact that the top of that angle piece is the level. When thats level, the bucket is level. Once you get your eyes trained to see that position , all will work well.

Rust on a brand new tractor

Looks like serious rust to me. I'd remove the paint, sandblast it , prime it and then a good paint job. Just guessing but looks to me like a poor paint job to begin with.
