Question...... If the old one was 15 to 60 and the new one is a 30 to 60psi wont that mess up the pressure that the light comes on at? now the light will come on at 30 pounds instead of 15. That is a big difference of pressure at idle. Thoughts?

UPDATE...... Well I was able to get back to the tractor today. I was sure that I check this when I put this together. But, It was the valve clearance was to tight, adjusted and it is running good now. Thanks for the information

I just replaced the head gasket on my Zen-Noh zl-1801-fd. I have drained and bled the injectors but cranking it over with the lines cracked at the injectors until I had a fair stream of fuel from the line. I then tightened the lines and it fires right up, except it smokes terrible black smoke...

I'm guessing that it is a gas motor? If it is, the first thing I would check is the Magneto. It is probably heating up and the spark is breaking down. And after you shut it off it will cool off and run normally until it heats up again. If this is what it is, it will be a simple replacement...

Bolt. Seized in the block as I tried to remove it. Does anyone have the Kubota number or where I can get new ones? Napa could not match, we suspect they are hardened steel. Plus they did not have the smaller head. Help appreciated.

I have broken a head bolt on my zl-1801-fd Zen-Noh. Is it appropriate to just go to the parts store and get another? If so, what grade? If not where can I get one? Any and all information is appreciated.

No Silicone will not work you must have a gasket and torque the bolts to the correct range. Service Dept Vic has the gasket.

Where the oil comes from the block to the head it looks like there is an O'ring there. I will look tonight and tak a pic if there is one there so you can see where I an talking about. I will take the head gasket let me know how you handle payment. But lets wait for shipping until I check on...
