Thanks for the reply. I tried it. It did slow down the idle, but it caused the throttle lever and gas pedal to become useless, i.e. if i press the gas pedal or pull the throttle lever the rpm would not increase and the engine would remain idling. I think there must be another adjustment that...

My tractor has the D950 engine, and it idles fast around 1100 rpm. Does anyone know how to adjust the idle speed or have any other suggestions? What is your D950 idling at? I have checked all linkages and they operate freely, no obstructions. I have replaced the governor springs.

Are you saying that they do work when tractor is not running, or that they do not work at all?

I ordered a new tach cable for my B1600 as mine was broken. The new cable arrived today, part#67800-55410 (for B8200). In the bag along with the cable there is what looks like a small plastic washer/spacer. Where does the washer go? Thanks

According to the B8200 non-HST operator's manual both A and B are for the hydraulic/transmission oil, there is only one dipstick. C=???

I beleive it is the PH7328. Use the correct weight of oil (usually written on the oil cap) I dont think it matters which brand.

What engine does your B7100 have?
