You are right about it getting old. Fortunately we break it down to 400 miles and spend the night. Good news is I have a 2500 with diesel and Allison transmission and that makes pulling a trailer a bit better…just a bit!
I use wheel nets all the time for my Polaris SXS 4 seater and my cars (Corvettes). The wheel nets are made by Macs Custom Straps. The trial run I could feel the tractor behind me…we are going to take it easy and run between 55-60 mph.
The photos below show my set up. Each set of straps has a 3,000 pound working load limit with a 9,000 safety limit. The trailer has a total load limit of 6,000 pounds. The trailer itself weighs 1,000 pounds leaving a load limit on top of the trailer of 5,000 pounds. The tractor and loader...
Wow! I have some “boulders” on my property. No chance in moving them, one is about 14,000 pounds and the other is 50,000 pounds. Big granite boulders. We have lots of granite. Granite weighs 170 pounds per cubic ft.
Corvettes and Polaris RZRs have their battery charger plug into a cigarette lighter conveniently located. Can I use the same kind of charger plugged into the cigarette lighter for my 3560 to keep the battery in tip top condition?
Ugh…you got some trees down! I am building a new home and the guy that cut the trees made 3 massive piles of oak and hickory. Cutter said there was 20-25 cords of wood. Getting the tractor with the grapple will make cutting the wood pile much easier!
Thank you. Took it for a test ride today and it will be a slow ride…maybe 55-60 instead of 70-75. I loaded the knee mill first, so there is a lot of weight forward. Nice and easy, no sudden moves!
thank you!
We got the mill (2700) pounds and the lathe, metal shear and one of the big toolboxes loaded on the trailer. Everything has been covered with 3 different tarps. I am going to take the truck and trailer for a test drive today. Just to be sure….
Yes, the tech checked the front axle fill level with a flashlight. All good there.
aghhhh, i forgot to ask about the routing of the 3rd function lines….duh!
Everything looks good. Not sure if the fluid leaked from my log splitter (was adjacent to tractor) which has been known to do, but not when I had it tipped up like i had it. Service technician gave it a very thorough look over. I was satisfied. Now to see if the leak demon will show up again...
Brand spanking new.
Touching it and rubbing between my fingers it didn’t feel like a high viscosity oil. It’s 86 degrees F out.
it has been run and moved out of garage several times. There hasn’t been oil on the floor before. That is what is crazy. We were gone to Maine about 10 days and...
