    Extreme Newbie w 5 Acres

I have 5 acres of mostly cleared land. I have the BX1880 and it works perfectly for what I am currently doing. I am not saying get that one, but your budget could be your deciding factor if you are planning on buying a recent model.

    Quick Hitch

Adding a few things to my BX1880 and one of them will be a quick hitch. My dealer sells Land Pride so that is what I am going to get, I have two choices the QH05 or the QH16 at this point I just have two implements I put on the back, the Kubota Ballast box or a old leveler. The QH05 is about...

A shout out to Good Works Tractor Co., and their above and beyond approach.

Always great to hear a good review, be sure to post a review on Google etc. as many people look to these before making a purchase ( I know I do).

I'm new to the world of sub-compact tractors so no brand means anything specific to me. I went with Kubota simply because the dealership is 6mins from my property. I had a nice casual sales experience, which was good I'm buying a tractor not a Bentley, so I expected friendly service and...

Some things in life very hard to understand

All the things many dream of Wealth, success, fame etc. Don't always bring happiness even when fully achieved. There are always two sides to a coin and one is often darker than the other. Terrible waste, a moment of selfish hopelessness leaving a lifetime of loss and sadness..

When men were men and boys were men!

Those were the days where if you did not work (and work hard) you did not eat.. Now we live in the welfare age where being "sad" means you get a monthly cheque.

    Pallet Forks for a BX

I 100% agree, I want a set with a modified skid (Pallet) as a carry all. Plus I am sure when I order materials they will come on a skid (Pallet).

100% agree. If I was a few years younger that is just what I would do.

Great post, thanks for sharing! I know nothing on small engine repair so I not sure if that is a road I want to travel. My barn is not suitable for large storage and/or events (and I don't want many people on my property) I like working, I do it every M-F and most weekends. Perhaps I am being...

    Small Utility Trailer

My property is mostly flat with only one notable "hill" which I don't plan on stopping on under any circumstances..

Yeah, I'll need to strengthen up my mailbox this year I think, starting to get a nice lean to it from the plow.

    Small Utility Trailer

No sure about that, it is not "plastic" and I am sure with an 800 pound capacity someone has tossed some dirt/rocks in it... If they broke quickly the interwebs would be full of 1000's complaints

    Considering a BX1880

I currently use a ballast box when I snow blow, filled it with old patio stones etc. (maybe 200 pounds in total) and works very well, but I'd prefer something that had more uses..
