I have an L3901 HST and the only time I can see the split pedals being usefull would be if you have Cruse Control added, then you would be able to use and function the pedals as intended. I also have a 54 Farmall Super C and I use the split pedal brakes all the time.

Re: Rams or Hydrolic Pump I have not had the pressure checked I may have to do that. I was curling the bucket and it seemed to work well enough. but would not break enough tension to allow the lift to do it's thing.

Honestly I like the wider and higher back of the Highback for the back support and extra room, but being a bigger guy myself and knowing about a rough ride the Michigan has almost double the vertical suspension range of the Highback. Tough decision.

Stupid me! Panic averted :o, When removing the kick plate I had to raise the knob that sits under the seat in order to get it off and I failed to screw it back down. This knob controls the 3pt and normally i never touch it. Sometimes it is the simple things that throw you for a loop.

I have a new one for me. This morning I went to use my tractor, L3901, raised the 3pt to get the driveway maintainer off the ground and now the 3pt won't go back down. any thoughts? I just had the floor plates and kick plate off to coat them, could I have done something to it then? :rolleyes:

Jake, I have an L3901 with a piranha bar and I use a pair of clamp on pallet forks. The pallet fork clamps do go over the piranha bar easily but you do need to find a spot at one of the wider gaps to set the fork into in order to get it as close to the bucket as possible. I have not lifter...

I added mirrors to the top of my FEL riser and absolutely love them. My only issue is when I take the loader off the mirrors stay with it and I don't have them for times when I am mowing.

Went back out to look at it again. couldn't move it by hand so I took a guess and moved the HST pedal and it moved when I presses the foot lever. So I am going t guess that it is for cruse control that I do not have.

After painting my floor plates of my L3901 HST I was hooking up the clutch spring and noticed this lever of some sort coming out of the transmission. It has a hole in the end like it is ready for a cotter pin

Here are the floor panels I painted with the spray can bed liner. It is not as course as the Line-X in my truck bed but we will see how it does. I am however pleased with how it looks.
