@ stevewhitts,
My BX 25 is a twin to the unit you just purchased. (it's based on the BX 2360 series tractor)
Identical instrument cluster. (your instrument cluster is likely the original)
My serial number sticker says BX25D SN 59109
Brake pedal on right side.
No armrests on the seat.
I bought mine from my father-in-law equivalent, who was the original purchaser.
It was sold as a 2011 model year.
I paid $10.5k in 2019, mine had ~ 400 hours when purchased, it's over 800 hours now.
Yours and mine are separated by 4196 production units.
Mine has been a very solid machine with an absolutely amazing amount of work done with it.
I have a long ongoing thread in the "Projects" section where some of the work has been documented.
I recently acquired a second additional BX 2370 strictly for mowing grass.
That has the brake pedal on the left side and the seat has armrests.
It's a 2013 model with 361 hours on it.
It spent at least ~ eight months sitting outside on the dealership used lot.
When I went and looked at it, the instrument cluster tachometer was inoperative.
The selling dealership had to replace the instrument cluster for the sale of the machine to me.
That repair cost is approaching $1000 parts and labor. Parts alone is about $700.
So here is a very strong suggestion for you.
Get that machine stored someplace out of the Maryland rain & snow.
Unless you want to replace the instrument cluster for a grand.
Many people will tell you the BX series machines are nothing more than "overstuffed" garden tractors.
That statement would not be truthful.
Enjoy that new-to-you machine!
