Very nice, I see some spydercos, zt's, benchmade, looks like some hinderer designs. Possibly a couple microtechs up top.

I found this forum after the knife forum i was very active on shut down.

I don't have quite that many folders maybe 35 or 40 or so. My main thing was butterfly knives.
Got into flipping, then into customs. Had some high end otf's. Ultimately got hooked up with a custom maker in Az. S#$t got out of hand fast.

Yep you pretty much nailed a lot of the brands I have in my collection.
Those are some good looking knives as well.

Those Look very familiar to the Kutmaster Muskrat skinning knife I had when I was a kid....

Not implying anything here.... I just thought it was interesting.

are you familiar with kutmaster skinning knives?
I am familiar with the Kutmaster name. I tried very hard to emulate the look of vintage made pocket knives so your comment is a compliment !

I must have close to 100 scattered around the house And lots of fixed blades. I see a couple of Microtechs in your drawer. Mine is a different color. I picked up a Kershaw Launch 11 auto last week. It’s at the bottom of the photo. Microtech OTF is above it and then 3 Ganzo knives which are really well made and really cheap. I am amazed at the quality for the price. The top one is an auto and is more expensive. The other two Ganzo’s are in the $20-$30 range. They are great EDC knives that you don’t have to worry about losing.

Knives have never been a huge draw for me, but I have won a few over the years in various contests.
Trying to remember where they are, I realized virtually all of them are in stranded/survival/bugout packs in vehicles, both here & up at my place in the high country.
I have had 2 or 3 of the Shrade Oldtimer Sharp Fingers, decent knife for skinning.
I have a scaled down version of a Fairbankes/Sykes style dagger with survival gear in the handle.
I have a couple US Air Force survival knives floating around, actually pretty decent for survival bushcraft.
Trail riding near my cabin, I found a 6" Buck knife & sheath, had it for years until a buddy offered me $75 for it.
Only these 3 were handy for pics.
Combat machete was a recommendation of a Marine Recon buddy, chinese made, but he claimed it was a good compromise between price & quality. I guess I'll find that out if there is ever a zombie apocalypse. ;)
It's pretty sharp for a machete.

Yep. There’s coupe microtechs, amazing how light they are.

Whoa @airbiscuit, that has to be the nicest $25 collection of knives I've ever seen! 😂

Here are a couple of custom D Smith knives that I won at a Pheasants Forever blind auction. The top one has a mammoth tusk handle, and the bottom one has a mammoth tooth handle. The colors in the tooth come from the tooth being exposed to minerals as it sits at the bottom of a river or lake.

I contacted Mr. Smith to ask about the handles, and he told me that they come with a 10,000 year warranty that expired 6,000 years ago. 😊

Nice collections here! I feel really boring carrying the same Benchmade for 25+ years. I always check out the knives at the local gun/knife shows, but nothing's really tickled my fancy.

A few I produced when I was building collectable traditional pocket knives.
My dyed and jigged cow bone covers.

Found this forum right after jerzeedevil shut down. Ron was a good dude.

I was most active on Bladeforums and did not spend time or know Ron. Always hard when a community shuts down.

Here is one you might recognized. I built this horseman pattern based on a 3 5/8" Geo. wolstenholm.
Entered it in the 2012 Blade Show judging. Fun build as I made a desktop display for it.
