This picture tells me your not getting the rack pin in the proper location on the governor linkage.

I will get some sleep and go out there with some help tmr and try again. I just can’t believe my grandpa or I can’t get it lined up with both of our hands but all these ppl on YouTube can do it one handed while recording. I just hope I didn’t screw something up trying to fit it in before I knew about the fuel shut off switch.

Put the pump in place and push down, if it's the lobe it will squash, avoid doing it with a bolt.

See I kinda did that but I really didn’t put much pressure on it at all. I’d say not enough to get the lobe to squash. I’ve got all the right parts/pieces and it came out so it’ll go back in. I’ll make extra sure that the rack pin is in its spot tmr and if it’s still sitting funny I’m going to put some body weight ontop and see if it squishes down. I will say I took all the blue caps off and it’s full of oil/ diesel so I think it’s completely extended etc so I probably will have to squish some of that oil out to get it to seat down. Thanks for all your help i definitely wouldn’t have made it far without you. I know the one post may have seemed ungrateful but i just didn’t know if you’ve done it on this exact engine or just have done it on others before that were similar. I’m just young and used to working on things that have YouTube videos that show exactly what to do not these very vague service manuals that leave a lot up to interpretation. It’s also just got me stressed out just spent 14k on this tractor and all I wanted was for it not to leak anymore. I will admit wish I wasn’t as hard headed and just let the dealer do this one for me. Oh well I will figure it out and the money saved is getting spent on a valve adjustment.

There is thousands of variations to these engines and there is always a little hang up, when you've done enough of them you know what feels right or what feels like an issue.
Hang in there it will come together!
